I had the same problem with my thyroid surgery I had to told my fiancé two days before while I was in the hospital two weeks before my surgery I had a huge breakdown and I was in tears didn’t want to do it wanted to quit and leave but he told me that if I didn’t get the surgery I would not be here that this was important to get it done. do the surgery for you for your health and for you and ur family. When he told me i waited 6 yrs to find a great dr who would do it he said do this for us plus do it for you and your mental health. I’m glad I had the surgery I’m not struggling anymore to walk or breath I feel so much better. I pray and hope the best for ur surgery and hope everything goes well. it’s hard not easy I did lots of praying that helped me out a ton.
I agree with your Mrs., someone else’s circumstance doesn’t negate yours. Praying for peace, an uneventful procedure, a smooth recovery and complete healing.

Decisions for surgery is never easy but you "ll be fine, I'm sure Jon. You'll have a bit of discomfort for a while as you're healing but you'll be awesome after that. Please try not to take painkillers. Do it old school. I would hate to see you loose all that awesomeness. Baby girl is going to have a hard time dating. Jon has set the standard. What a Father!
