Welcome back!! Today I am sharing a small grocery/dollarstore haul and it's Ben's birthday weekend! Come along and spend some time with us and celebrate Ben turning 10!

Aw, a huge Happy 10th Birthday to Ben, he looks all grown up already. I love the cake you made for him with the soccer field and the players. He seemed very happy with his day from start to finish and what fun for everyone to go playground hopping and then to end his day with a family campfire, a whole day of Ben. Thanks for taking us along Lindsay, this was a fun one.

@@TheMtggrl Thanks, Tania! I actually bought his cake this year, BUT I could have SO easily made that cake!! He couldn't decide what he wanted, and at the last minute he decided he'd like a soccer cake. I took the easy route this year (I always make their cake) but he loved it, so I was happy! It was a great day, and a perfect evening for a fire! I am happy it's the weekend! Have a great weekend! 😊❤️

Happy 10th birthday Ben! Looks like he cleaned up in the presents department. I love that locket so much. I have 2 daughters and that is what I say to them. I love you to the moon and back...difference is my girls are 43 & 36 years old but will always be my babies....You do an awesome job making their birthdays perfect!! 🎊🎊⚽⚽🥅🥅🎉🎉

@@TheChampy2012 Nope, Ben wasn't bothered at all. Audrey actually got that locket a while back, it was just (finally) ready to be picked up at the print shop. Jacob needed sneakers for gym, I ordered them online and they happened to arrive the day before Ben's birthday. Ben had an awesome birthday!! Have a great weekend. 😊

Wonderful cozy video! Great haul-love that maze book and colouring book. Jacob's sneakers are too cool! Audrey's locket is so precious and how sweet that she will open it at school when she is missing you. All the parks were great and that cake looked delicious! And of course, a big happy birthday to Ben!! 10!! Too funny MY Ben has a birthday in September as well and he is going to turn 20!!!! Double your Ben's age. I remember when my Ben was 10-boy the years go fast-but also slow-such wonderful memories. PS-guess what I am making tomorrow?? Your fantastic ice cream cake for my son's bday! Bought everything last Thursday and am excited to make it. Thanks for the recipe

Hi Lindsay!!! Great haul. We made it through the hurricane without any problems. Sometimes when you want the camera to focus on something small if you put your hand behind it it will focus. Fried rice is a favorite of ours. Yum! I never realized how much Emily and Jacob look alike! Another great vlog. Thanks!! Happy Birthday Ben! He’s looking older.

@@mominthemaritimes oooh. New gadgets are always fun but sometimes frustrating when you’re used to what you’ve always had. They really are growing so fast. It’s scary how fast time is going by. It seems like just yesterday Emily would be howling in her crib to be let out while you were trying to pack the kiddos lunches and Daisy was trying to get into their bags. Lol. Have a great week 🥰

Hi Lindsay 👋 😊 Good little haul with some good deals. I love those small chickens. Your dinner of fried rice and salad looked delicious. I love my rice cooker also. My kids love pogos for lunch. Nice gym shoes for Ben. Looks like Ben had a great birthday 🎂 🥳 🎉 🎈 🎁 with his favorite meals and all the activities that you all did. Love ending it with a family fire. That's always nice. @@canadiankabingurl9782 it was a busy but fun day, I think it was one his Ben's favourite birthdays! He had one of his good friends over for it too, but I didn't show her in the video. It's a very rainy day here, I'm making soup and home-made rolls with the leftovers from one of those small chickens! How do you pack pogos for your kids? I just did parchment paper and foil and the kids didn't mind that. I've been loving the cooler weather lately. Have a great weekend, Dyann. 😀

@mominthemaritimes After they're baked, I just put them in foil. They heat them up at school in the napkin I give them. I always include a small dipping container for ketchup and mustard. 😊 It's warm here today but soup and rolls sound very good. 😊 Have a good weekend.

Hey, do you have any recommendations of areas or things to do in Canada if you have never been?

@@533134 Hey Jessica, I guess it really depends on what part of the country you're visiting. The west coast offers the rockies! Ontario has Niagara Falls. If you're coming to the east coast, there is the world famous Cabot Trail. Baddeck is a nice small town and has the Alexander Graham Bell museum. Alot of people love Halifax (if you like the city). Lobster rolls/sea food on the east coast! So many things!
