Girl in nursing we give WAY too much of ourselves in ANY speciality so if it’s something your not feeling it will be soooo much harder and stressful for you. I graduated in December 2022 and went straight to the OR at a level 1 trauma center, doing days bc I need to live my life! It is stressful (and the learning curve is extremely steep) BUT I am no where near as stressed my fiancé who is a trauma nurse, works nights, (he’s been one for 2 years now and his head still spins everyday). Although he loves the craziness of trauma and the ED he is looking to switch now because it’s just too much stress and he’s burnt out, always sleeping. So do what makes you happy!
