Yes, computer science involves a lot more theory while computer engineering deals more with hardware. There are many routes you could take graduating with a cmpe degree such as software engineer, firmware engineer, and many more options.

Hey Angelol, I'm curious to see how students from different universities felt about their signals and systems course. So if you've taken a signals and systems class, how was the course? Was the coursework easy, manageable, or hard/impossible. Also, was the course's difficulty due to the professor or the curriculum?
If u mean computer engineering vs computer science (programming based). Then Computer engineering is more of the hardware parts and electrical circuits. While Computer Science is more of creating software and programs and coding.
I'm actually interested in going for computer engineering but I'm not actually a coding, I am a Hardware Person. What should i do, i would like to work as Hardware engineer but it looks like the degree that is required for this position is mostly computer engineering.
