As a former software developer myself wanting to get back into it, it's nice to hear the whole "not in a hurry, so I just take my time" approach. I sometimes forget that I'm learning for the sake of learning now and it makes it that much more fun.
Exactly my point... I feel so much more into it knowing I dont have deadlines or anything like that. I think on my end I love coding as a hobby more than anything
I love the way you edit & the fact that you’ve allowed yourself to add more humour into your videos. I hope it’s not because you eased out of coding in favour of RU-vid & Interior decor (mainly because I’m a student & I code too😭). I’m glad I found your channel (& that you & Shevon are cool with one another😂)
Honestly my go to channel to watch. Been here for a while now and been following the journey on RU-vid and Insta. Keep up the great work man!! PS... from the Insta story ;)
This was very enjoyable! great way to spend a sunday morning and getting into my own flow zone! Personally, I like the tech vids and lifestyle....as long as its realistic. Too many times YT brings us into unrealistic expectations and can lead some into feelings of being unfulfilled because they can't match the lifestyle. I'd also like to see more about your personal code journey as a side. You touched on it enough times that I can tell you are making it a big part of your post-SE life and would like to see where it's going! Thanks to you and your crew for the continued brilliant content. Oh, and get into your Notion! Its like working in Davinci....extremely big learning curve but an incredible tool once you get the hang of it.
I'm sorry but this lifestyle is extremely unrealistic. For starters he has like $300k+ worth of cars with no good explanation how he is making and spending all this money. Am I out of my depth for commenting on this? Yes. But your comment about what is realistic struck a nerve. Andres's lifestyle is unequivocally not realistic for most software engineers, especially right out of school. "Too many times YT brings us into unrealistic expectations and can lead some into feelings of being unfulfilled because they can't match the lifestyle." You said it best. That's exactly what's going on here, even if you may not realize it.
@@ReidEvers Then you got my "polite" yet indirect message to our creator. I don't want to discourage him but maybe it would give the insight to "tone it down" a bit. I do like his energy and his videos, but to be blunt I must agree with you. Just don't let your experiences reflect on others if you don't agree or have similar ones. Every journey has a different path. Even if unrealistic, use it as motivation to move forward. Best!
I see an Andres Vidoza video and i click. Period . Awesome job so far. I've watched every single content you've put out and I've enjoyed consuming them ❤
I've had some experience with software development, using Visual Basic several years ago, but it was enough for me to understand the challenges you face with coding.
Love the channel, love that you’re Canadian!! Sorry to hear the last minute drop of of the sponsor. Thought I would leave a comment so that RU-vid can do its RU-vid thing. Keep up the great work!!
ISTG I have the same Herman Miller table but in white since 2013 and it's not even by Herman Miller! Tbh, sometimes (okay a lot of the times) they really drive up the price of their stuff.
As a creative designer diving into tech and studying various coding languages, I love your videos! Not only are they visually pleasing, but the contents are meaningful and helpful. By the way, where did you get that bag or tote bag?
The only thing that bothers me so much is the 14-inch's battery life. I can only get around 4 hours on-screen working with PowerPoint, and it does make me very nervous several times. This is a great video though
Such an inspiration Andres! 🙇🏻 I love the color grading as usual. I hope I can have your lightroom presets so I can have atleast a color inspire 😊 really nice color. So cozy! Audience from Insta here by the way ✋🏼
yeah... I stop coding 15 years ago, apart from some small things, I didn't code at all... I'm having a really hard time to comeback to professional level. Anyways... nice video ... subscribed... keep up coding!
How do you recommend keeping the keyboard keys free of oil and use marks from over time? I’ve noticed they tend to attract marks quite easily, even if I do wash my hands often and don’t eat around working on my laptop.
@@andresvidoza I'm an incoming freshman at university this fall. So I need a good lappy that can get done most of my CS assignments and tasks... Do you have any recommendations? I'm currently considering M1 mbp for 1500 dollars...
