Great video! Curious, for the morning shot how do you do it, do you set the camera up before you go to bed? Or do you get up first, set it uo then jump back in for a few more cozy minutes 😄 haha Love your work!

Thanks for watching. Ha ha. Yes, its a little staged. I setup and then get back into bed and just edit out however long I snoozed for.

We're thinking about to video our daily life too, but it is impossible because what we do is have to be together especially when we are working.

Brandon what do you think about yourself making a charity donation on-screen (segment of a vlog) to a Cat Charity in AU in the next few days before the AU Financial Year ends? Would be a good reminder for many about the cut-off date so they can claim it in July 2024

Thanks for the suggestion! While I won't be featuring donations on-screen, it's great to see your support for charity.

Thank you for the video, friend, I have a question, can you answer me if it's okay? I'm interested in civil engineering, so I'm thinking of going to uni, but it may not suit my aptitude, so I'm going to try the certification course at Tafe first, what do you think? Is it better to go to college right away? I'm not young enough lol
@BrandonSayasane
@BrandonSayasane Месяц назад
Hi There, Funny you ask this because I am going to release a video about this topic soon. My advice is (especially if you live in Australia) is to try being a Civil Drafter first (You don't need to be super smart). Once your in an engineering company more opportunities open up and sometimes you can study to become an engineer and your company may pay some of the tuition.
@Dsndi8274
@Dsndi8274 Месяц назад
@@BrandonSayasane I'm really looking forward to the video. Lol. First of all, thank you for answering. (yes, i live in sydney, and recently got a PR visa.)As you said, try being a a civil drafter, but Don't i need a degree to work as a civil drafter? So I'm thinking about whether to go to uni or learn a certificate first at tafe. Thank you so much for your reply. I wanted to ask around, but I couldn't meet anyone who works on this side.
@BrandonSayasane
@BrandonSayasane Месяц назад
@@Dsndi8274 So when I started I didnt need a degree, just a diploma. But look around for Apprentice or Cadet Drafter roles. These are the ones where you get paid to study and learn on the job. Pay wouldnt be great though.

Do you work on yr computer whilst you are on the train...? The gold coast to brisbane commute by train.. is very busy..but only one hour...
@BrandonSayasane
@BrandonSayasane Месяц назад
Since I predominately use AutoCAD for my work, its very difficult to use it without a mouse. So I usually would not. But also depending on the time train I take, I would be standing for about 80% of my commute.

I can actually but the problem is it is an extra 30min for that train. It goes the long way around to the city.

1:50 i been looking to buy a brand-new Subaru BRZ as my daily-drive (AU$49,990 driveaway, but I think I can negotiate and get it for about AU$44,990 driveaway). have you always been a Suby guy? buying an electric-car not appealing at moment?
@BrandonSayasane
@BrandonSayasane 9 дней назад
Hey, yeah I've liked Subies for a while. I personally want to get a WRX 2021 model don't really like the new model. But don't have the money for it at the moment. In regards to electric cars, I was looking at the BYD Seal but want to see how it goes long term since it was just released not to long ago.

@@BrandonSayasane if you are looking at used cars, the channel 'ReDriven' (based in Newcastle NSW, has almost 250,000 subs) have gems of info on it. I personally only buy brand-new cars as i am not a car person at all, but am now thinking its worth to pay a mechanic $350 / $400 / $450 to come to where the car is for sale and get them to do a top-to-bottom check-over of the vehicle and if it is worth purchasing
@BrandonSayasane

@@_Sensei_8 thanks for the info. I've checked it out. Definitely some good information. I've heard the wait times for new cars are 6 months. I think I'd look into demonstration cars for my next one.

@@BrandonSayasane I [on the side, when I got free time] for the last 10 years been doing brand-new car negotiations in the eastern seaboard of Australia. ideal to stay away from demo cars as they usually get thrashed by the sales staff. If you are looking for a Suby WRX 2020 or 2021 built you will have to buy used from a private seller or a used car dealership. Are you good with car mechanics and spotting a lemon? if you are then you can easily pick a good car, but otherwise best to pay someone some cash who is really good with cars [friend, family member, a local mechanic] and take them with you to inspect the car (its well worth spending a few hundred dollars to avoid a lemon or heavily thrashed or overpriced WRX)
