Hello Brown feminist, I have been working as a CRC in india and wants to shift abroad, what would you suggest me on how to approach initially to get the job
Found your video very insightful - thank you! I’m an RN who’s spent some time in both ER and ICU, but still looking for my niche. I’ve been curious about research, and plan to watch more of your videos during my days off :)!
Thank you for your kind words, Liza! I hope you find some clarify on my channel. Feel free to email me any additional questions at thebrownfeminist90@gmail.com
Hello, I actually did not do a course specific to clinical research. I had a background in biomedical science research and then did a nursing degree then I transitioned to clinical research. There are several ways of entering clinical research industry as I describe in my videos :)
@@thebrownfeministcanada Thanks to you I can see that there are many majors can enter Clinical Research industry. Is there any chances or pathways for IMG like me can become a Principal Investigator directly (even if I don't attend Residency) ?
Really depends on the team. It was terrible in my last role which was in critical care CRC. Now it is amazing, I am in gastro/onco. Depends on the supervisor and team.
Hi Anna, no I dont. I have heard of that happening at companies where patient recruitment is outsourced to a third-party private recruitment company. I have never heard of that happening at recognized CROs/Hospitals. What typically happens for a trial is that the physician identifies potential candiates, has a discussion, and if they seem interested send it to the coordinator. OR, the coordinator routinely screens patients off the chart and approaches them after confirming that they meet all the eligibility criteria. In most hospitals, you are only allowed to call patients on the phone who have previously consented to be contacted for new research studies - so it is not entirely cold calling.
I'm the background of commerce. Can I eligible the clinical research Job ? I'm working in that office so give me proper details or any certificate course will be eligible for that job please give me details Madam...💐
Hi Jilani, since you do not have a health science background, you would definitely need additional training to enter clinical research. Does that really interest you enough to do more schooling? Also, within clinical research, you might have an easier time learning about and entering data analyst and management positions. I mentioned it in this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wyh9wSp4jpQ.html
