This was very helpful! I actually complete my CNA training next week and want to work in a hospital while in nursing school. So nice to see a setting other than a skilled facility. Keep up the great work out there!! 😊

I’m a Dietary Aide at a hospital and I’m getting my CNA license. I absolutely love the 12 hour shifts, 3 days a week. I don’t like 5 day work weeks. 😂 My coworkers told me to speak with the nursing supervisor because they’re quick to hire CNA’s. Well, I spoke to him, he told me to apply that same day, and two days later, I got an email to do a phone interview! 🥹 3/7/24 is my phone interview; wish me luck guys!

I was a CNA (PSW we're called in Canada) for 10 years. I've been out of it for 6 years, working as a coordinator in the corporate/housing/shelter world. I have been offered a CNA position at one of our hospitals with an amazing reputation. I've never worked in a hospital and was always in long term care. Is the hospital setting better? I always wanted to work in the hospital and feel it is very different from LTC.

How can i get job in USA after completed my diploma in nursing from india? Which position will i get as a diploma nurse, RN or CNA ?
@auhneja2164
@auhneja2164 Год назад
I’m not sure about the curriculum in India. However, a RN is a degree and CNA is a certificate course.

I find it destorbing when videos so ofently show hand desinfication and masks all over… both products shouldnˋ t be used 24/24 only if there is really high risk of infestion.

Thanks for the tour. I like how in your hospital, you got a nice cart for your supplies! In the facility where I had my clinicals, we always have to go back to the cabinet where the linens are. Not good especially if the aisle space is so tight. Everybody bunched up! So annoying!

Three years as a CNA at a Nursing home. Ya’ll!!! The struggle is real! Census everyday was about 15 to 1 CNA. Most of the time, half of the patients are totals! CNAs in nursing homes don’t last long.

I'm a CNA in the UK. We call it HCA here. I was raised in FL and want to go back so bad. I like how in the UK we don't say diapers we call them pads so as to not patronise the adult patients who need them.

It says PCA there, not CNA. CNA are state licensed and can work anywhere in the state..PCA can only work in the facility they were trained. Not quite the same, but similar.
