they were really good at wrestling and got recruited. I can’t imagine that they had much time for anything else

@@Asher-xo3gd so having above average or “good” test scores and stats with exceptional athletic results and you’ve got yourself a D1 ivy recruit?

@@kushsingh7044 They still have to be above the 1400 range and have pretty good grades to be considered. It's not like ivy league athletes are very dumb or anything, but even with their great stats, most would not even reach the consideration pool just because of how high the standards are for a non-athletic applicant

Of course, Obviously as Asher said, theyre athletics were definitely a factor in their admission, but they also had the GPA and involvement to back it. I went to school with Jack and he was always on top of his grades, and both made all American for academics as wrestlers. Along with that both of them were pretty involved and did a lot outside of wrestling to give them that edge to where they are today!
