Great video , I have 2 questions though 😢😢😢📌FYI it's the answers to these two questions that will make me decide wether to do a master's in data analysis or not ,(1) is it just me or I fail to work alone accurately in data analysis unless I bounce ideas with two or three other brains ? (2) Sometimes I feel the need to build my own data analysis tools in PHP and SQL because existing tools always have that one or two or more things they can't do but I really need those functions , do I just bother myself doing this ?
its wild how you were so quick to ask that the data is complete. most of my data has many, many "null"s and a big part of our work is figuring out how to manage that!
Just the video I was looking for! I recently graduated in Data Science and looking to freelance while looking for work as a data analyst. I've been on the hunt for what a deliverable would actually look like for a client and this is the first video I have come across that helps! Thank you for making this video Dee!
This actually looks like an awesome job IMO....I Love to look at trends in data, even in my current job, we use tableau for Tracking our performance numbers over time. Imma definitely look into this Field
Thanks for the very instructive video! REQUEST: Could you please make some videos with step by step real life projects, so we as aspiring DAs can practice and build a portfolio ? Thanks
I don’t know whether to study Data Analyst or Database Administrator. It’s important to me to learn one of these as quickly as possible? "After studying, which of these two has a better chance of helping me land my first job? In other words, which one can be learned faster, and with which one can I get a job more quickly?
This video made me excited I am currently learning data analytics tools and I wanted to see what this would look like in practice this was so exciting to get to see what your workflow looks like. It also gives me the ideas on what are realistic questions that buisnesses ask !
i love this soo much clear session objective clear example of what the sorted data could look like and an email example ....so much better than i woke up at 9am showered walked my dogs at 10 had breakfast started work at 1 (no objective or nothing ) i clocked out at 5 etc .
Really for entry level role you need power bi / tableau SQL and Excel skills pretty much that to get started. Although u know many SQL dialects I don’t use it much or Python loll
Great video, nicely put, clean, easy to understand and the best part of it all you don't hide anything or gatekeep or make it hard. I just started doing my AI engineering course majoring in Data science, and After watching this video I'm 100% sure I'm going to go with being a Data analyst😍🙏🙏
Hi Dee, thank you for your video; just curious (second cup of morning coffee high), does the amount to be paid by the insurance company affect the time it takes to pay, and if so, how would you report this to a client?
Nice representation of what Data Analyst work should look like. Question, in most of your work, are you doing some data cleaning before loading the data into Tableau? If yes, are you still using Excel or Python for that? Thanks!
Why dyu prefer tableau to power bi , both excel and power bi are Microsoft products hence it enables easy navigation between both apps But why tableau And like you said tableau is paid and power bi is free
Thank you so much. I havse watched tons of video saying learn this, learn that. But always curious about what actually data analysts do. Keep making those kind of video. I respect you for not showing actual data yet showing as much as possible. Shuvo, from Bangladesh
I have just completed a marketing course at Uni and now I have decided to switch to data analytics since I found that I enjoyed the aspects of the course that were based on data rather than marketing Are there any online courses in data analytics that I should take to enhance my understanding before searching for an apprenticeship/intern?
On a Saturday?? Maybe at FANG companies or start ups but where I have worked that would NEVER happen (Mid sized to fortune 50). Plus I don't work with clients, business nerds do that :)
Retired military my background is counseling andaerospace engineering. Im now interested in IT working remote with some travel entry level is fine i like working alone or with small groups but im unsure of which direction...any wisdom @codingwithdee
