Hey loves Wanted to catch up with you all and talk about how the new clinic is coming along. Sorry for the long video, but I promise it’s worth the time 😘
Hey girl! This video popped up in my recommend page and I’m so glad it did!! I’m also a medical assistant in an OB/GYN clinic so it was neat to see how you do things! Great video, keep it up!
Thank you so much love!!! I appreciate that! It’s always awesome to see how other clinics operate. I definitely will I’ll be putting more content out thank you for the support 😘
Hey girl! I’m a medical assistant as well but I’m trying to switch into ob gyn department and seeing this made me feel good about my decision! Thank you and keep up with the good videos!
SO peaceful and calm watching!❤️ I am currently in school right now becoming a MA during the pandemic I've been online learning for the past 3 months and was only on campus for 2 weeks I haven't not been in class or have done any labs since being on campus unfortunately for that I am trying to watch as many videos as I can like these to know which field I want to get into first and eventually work my way into all of them we do go back to school next month but only for lab and still during the online learning online I graduate in 5 months and I am on my 3rd MOD and I am super excited to get into this field ❤️
HEY. DEFINITELY LOVED THE VIDEO. I ALSO JUST PASSED MY CERT EXAM AND AM READY TO GET MY CAREER STARTED!! LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR NEXT VIDEO. 😊 THANKS FOR THE ADVICE.
I really needed this I’m a recent grad and was having a hard time finding a Specialty. I finally got hired at the obgyn I love its much easier the MA are really nice thanks for your video I feel much better..
I just finished school and currently waiting to start extern and Im set on working in a ob/gyn office!!! Watching your video has made me even more excited!! Keep the content coming!! 😘
As a CMA student I watch many of these. Thank you for real work videos and not endless nonsense like a lot of these people.Much love and respect. Go you.Can you give me any advice on what to study the most for state test?
I love this video! I’m almost done with my college courses and I really want to do my externship in a obgyn office! I eventually want to continue my study to become a nurse practitioner but I do love the obgyn specialty ❤️❤️❤️
I am now in my 40s and studying in a different discipline in medicine involving treating patients with herbs and natural remedies. Early on in my career, I learned to operate an autoclave at age 18 years old as a Podiatry Medical Assistant. She's really cleaning here and she is a very good worker ! I admire her because she takes pride in her work and I love when medical workers have passion about their job and their patients 😊❤️
I'm nervous with trying to get a field in the medical field because I take online courses and haven't had hands on. So I feel like I am not gonna know what I am doing. I am volunteering at a hospital though to get more hands on.
Andrea, I appreciate the video presentation regarding your weekly task as an Obstetrics/Gynecology Medical Assistant. On June 18, 2020 I accepted a job offer as full-time OB/GYN Medical Assisstant starting at 15.88 per hour. I'm happy, I do believe this will be the dream job I always wanted. I worked as a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy from 1997 through 2001. During that period, I have assisted Navy doctors during pap smear procedures as well as preparing exam room for the next patient. Becoming familiar with various instruments for Colposcopy and Hormone Therapy Setup will be definitely be a challenge. Andrea for next video presentation if you can manage some time after your workshift, will you go into further details about the instruments and set up involve for each procedure within the practice?
Thank you so much Robin. As I am no longer in the OB/GYN specialty, it wouldn’t be possible to do a video over every procedure and instruments used. I would love to do such a video and to educate more on this specific specialty, however I may have to do a sit down just a chit chat style video. I’ll do my best ❤️
I just was looking for videos cause this my first time working as an MA working in an OB. I want to get it right it's a lot to remember ,maybe it's just my nerves ....Thank you
I legit understand I had nervous gut as well going into OB/Gyn ! You got this queen just keep referencing book about your clinic for times you need help.
Just came across your video and this is exactly what I want to do the college I’m considering has job placement and I would love to be in the Obgyn side ! Great video
To be honest I didn’t have much training in the specialty however I learn quick and I am very hands on, so you show me once and I got it from there. However I take notes for the things that aren’t easy to stick mentally
So your office use autoclave pouches? Because in MA school we learned how to wrap instruments by hand with the muslin ( autoclave paper) for the autoclave machine. I wonder if a lot offices use pouches or do some require the traditional wrapping of the instruments.... Hmmmmm???🤔 how did you learn? curious because all schools are different.
i love your videos!! im im college right now and im super interested in the OBGYN field, i eventually want to be a PA in OBGYN or Labor & Delivery. Do you have any tips for externship or when you get started in the office??
Definitely take notes and never be afraid to ask questions if you are ever unsure! And do what you love never settle for a office if your not being treated fairly✨
I'm a guy and applied to a position for assistant with no medical field history. I didn't realize it was obgyn when I applied at first and I got an interview. What do you think I should do? Go for it?
Seriously considering getting my certificate and or associates as an MA. Leaning more towards associates. Can anyone suggest or recommend a good online program I can sign up for that? I'll be doing my hands on at the clinic where I'll be at. Thank you so so much! Videos like this make it easier to decide if it's the right thing for me to do 😊
to be honest with you I feel as though the pay will not be worth the extra money you will spend on tuition just for the degree. What state do you reside in?
Honestly b you and if that isn’t enough for them then they aren’t for you. Inform them of your willing to learn and ensure them you are dependable. The rest will fall into place. 💕
