One trick I do when cutting up chicken and placing into freezer bags is flipping the top of the bag down so the raw chicken doesn’t get all over the zipper part. Just something I do!

I am a single, 67 year old woman, never married, never had children. I so enjoy your videos. I attended Mennonite churches as a small child, then again as a teenager, and finally again over 32 years ago, eventually being baptized at the church. My inner city church closed due to very low attendance and I’ve been attending a more rural Mennonite church since that time. It’s interesting the paths that God puts us on to travel our journey. Anyway, it bears repeating that I enjoy your videos very much. Thank you for sharing these glimpses of your family’s life with us!

Callan is seriously the cutest little guy!!! He is so energetic just like my son, and I think they are very close in age too, my son is 19 months old. Also that jelly sock ( that's what I call it) we can get here in Ontario too. At the German Mennonite stores, soo delicious on rolls too!😍

I liked seeing how you dry your herbs! Currently I use our dehydrator for mine, but long-term that's not going to work, since we'll need to save it more for vegetables and things like that. Also air drying herbs would use less electricity :)

Kim, you and your family are just so precious, and it was such a joy to see what a day in your life looks like. You are doing holy work raising your sweet little gentlemen. You are doing an amazing job and fulfilling the noblest of callings. I so miss when our sweet boy was little, but I praise God for having the opportunity of raising him and homeschooling him, and am so very thankful that he is still at home with us and doing his Bible college online. He is such a dear blessing to us, as your dear boys will be to you and Darrell through the years. I had 15 months between my two middle ones and it was such fun, almost like having twins in some ways. I miss having a house full of small kids, it’s gets very quiet once they have all left home, enjoy every day of it Kim, you are right not to take away your sons bottle when a new baby comes home, it can all be a bit much for them to understand at first and you are right it’s a bit of extra comfort and he won’t still be having it when he’s 18 so let him be the baby that he still is, kind regards from the U.K. x

Thanks for taking the time to post. Our boy's were 11 months apart it was tough at times, but I have no regrets they are 31 now. They were always best friends and still are very close even tho the are 6 hours apart. Your boy's are adorable. I would love to see the steps of you drying your herbs i just started a little herbs garden 3 years ago. I just use them in while fresh. Any tips would be appreciated. Cake looked yummy.
