I’m sure no one meant harm by asking if you were pregnant, but at the same time everyone should know not to ask such a question. You still look absolutely beautiful!! Don’t feel bad at all. Hugs & prayers for you! ❤
Mom bods unite! I have 7 children. My youngest 2 are 4 month old twins. My body is shot. It also doesn't help that my hunger is insane because im pumping milk for two 😅. Our bodies are amazing!
I love what you said about how being a homemaker is your chosen profession, and you wouldn’t show up to any other job wearing pajamas. Prayers from one Catholic homeschool Mama to another!❤️
Oh my! You are NOT fat!! I have the same tummy issues after 4 pregnancies only mine is bigger than yours. I look 4-5 months pregnant. It shows that we put our families needs before ours. One day we will get to it. I feel bad that I was part of those comments. I guess because I assume when ppl see me they are waiting for a pregnancy announcement. You are beautiful!!
I wondered but didn’t dare ask. I too am a mom of many and have been battling diastasis recti for a while now. I did physical therapy for it last year, and then got pregnant at the end of the year. The pregnancy then ended in an emergency c-section which worsened the diastasis recti, especially lower down. So, now I am back in physical therapy again. A friend asked my husband if I was pregnant again after my last pregnancy, before I started the physical therapy. There is still no guarantee it will fix it.
Hi Tabitha , I am a Catholic school teacher turned stay at home mom to my three autistic kids . I am amazed by you homeschooling your kiddos ! You do a great job and a huge undertaking!❤
Lol I totally get it! I call the extra baby weight in the tummy my “leftovers” 😂 although when I started intermittent fasting, that helped me lose 20 lbs and immensely helped my tummy area. It wasn’t perfectly flat, but it was so much better 😊 my husband always tells me he loves my mommy body. He says it shows all the children that I’ve carried with it ❤️
Our bodies tell the story of our family. I have 5 kiddos earth-side and 2 in heaven. C-section scars, stretch marks, weight and a fluffy belly. I would do it all again to have these precious souls. I’ve had people ask me if I’m pregnant too and it stings. I hope you don’t let it bother you too much. It’s not embarrassing on you more on them. God bless you!
I'm a mom of 5. My kids are 13, 12, 11, 7, and 5. I'm near 5' tall and fluctuate between 120-126 lbs depending on my mental state. I'm pretty flat chested and most of my fat is in my belly and thighs. I think I'll always look a little pregnant because of the mom pooch, but I've learned to love her and be proud that I grew 5 wonderful little humans and that's what I have to show from it. ❤
I’ve always felt you look so beautiful and you inspire me to look my best! Our weight changes as women throughout our lives, for reasons out of our control ,but there is so much pressure to deny ourselves Grace.
Amen to you Mama. I have 7 children. Born either less than a year apart or a year and a half apart. You're doing amazing. I completely feel what you're going through as well.
I have the same rice cooker. I also watch "When Calls the Heart"! There are 10 seasons. I missed the first 4 seasons so I've gone back to binge watch those. Taking care of yourself will guide you in taking care of your family. And, yes, I have the pooch. After 6 pregnancies and 4 births, I can relate. Of course, I'm much much older and other health factors contribute 😢.
Here I noticed your stomach but saw the picture of motherhood. An appreciation. I am wearing more dresses now and sometimes have to fight the negative thoughts about my stomach after 7 pregnancies. It's a beautiful part of us. Our bodies designed by God. 💗🙏
I cook white rice in a rice cooker. Homemade rice a roni and mexican rice I make on the stove. I am 46 with 4 kids, the youngest being 6, and I always look pregnant. I look likemy mother, we both have rounded bellies, not just the momma pooch. I have tried loosing weight, but ever since I had my son anytime I cut calories or carbs, or exercise I gain weight. If I eat my usual meals I remain the same. I have learned to mostly accept it (mostly, but sometimes I miss being thin). I mostly just worry about my health. I monitor my blood pressure and sugar levels. Its hard to find good tv shows anymore. I have found even the ones that mention God aren't very good. I enjoy watching older tv shows, like the Waltons, little house on the prairie, ect. Amazon prime has quite a few.
oh hun do I feel you! My body grew two sets of twins... yep, I'll give you a moment to re-read that 🤣. My girls have lovingly named it Jiggly Bob and tell it thank you for growing them ❤. They are now 8 and this is something they have done since they were about 4. It has slimmed down with DR exercises but will probably always be around. Our bodies are amazing!! I hope you can give yourself the love and grace you deserve! You are beautiful!! I noticed your journal and would love to see how you have it set up and hear about your study practices.
I can definitely relate to the momma pooch insecurity. I really struggle with weight insecurity in general so it’s been tough with gaining pregnancy weight and retaining postpartum weight. I’ve learned to just follow what my husband says. He can tell when I’m not applying myself but he also keeps me from getting too insecure.
Raising my hand to join the Mom Bod Club (and I only have one kid, who's almost 10)! When I start to be hard on myself, I remind myself of all my body has done for my family, so it's not going to look like it did back in the day. Also, if you're not keen on nonstick coating (I'm not either) - use the instant pot! I still prefer the stovetop method, but when I need to set it and forget it, I reach for the IP.
You look amazing. My second baby (1st boy) completely destroyed my ab muscles and I look as if I am 9 months pregnant. I am very self conscious about it but it is what it is. God blessed me with 3 babies and I can’t complain about that.
We actually always cook our rice in the microwave. It's two cups of water to every cup of rice. Then we usually put it in for 25 to 30 minutes. It turns out perfect
🙋🏻♀️💕😊 no need to be embarrassed. You are beautiful and your body has done the most beautiful and miraculous thing … creating life.. God’s gift to you.. your blessings… your children!
YOU LOOK AMAZING!! ❤❤ I only have three kids, but my last was a big baby and even though I’m small, my belly is very wrinkly, which I’m not fond of…but trying to love my mom bod! Lol ❤
My twins are 5 and I still have the baby pooch. I chose not to get the abdominal surgery because it's only cosmetic. I dress conservatively so it's not very noticeable to anyone but my hubby who loves me just the way I am❤.
Hello, it is so good to see another video like this. I have missed them. I would like you to know that last year when I discovered your channel, you inspired me to clean out my whole entire house. We literally rented a dumpster and I was able to completely transform my house and declutter. I love your videos. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
Hey, Happy Tuesday. I really enjoyed this homemaking/day in your life vlog. ❤ I can understand why someone would want to know if you’re pregnant but at the same time they shouldn’t ask that question because it can be offensive. You’re still beautiful inside and out and try not to let it bother you ❤
Heartland is pretty clean and mild. There is also Call the midwife-as it focuses on midwives in a lower income area of London in tge 50s-60s there is some serious issues discussed but its clean otherwise I believe. I finished it quite awhile ago so I don't remember everything.
Can relate to what to what you’re saying. I had a pregnancy loss this year and then got pregnant again after a few months by the grace of God, but gained weight from both pregnancies and ate my sorrows a bit in between and feel totally uncomfortable in my own skin and am only in second trimester and already feel chubby. Sigh. Hopefully I can lose it easily. You’re lovely!
Tabitha….YOU ARE NOT FAT!!! I will say I thought you might be pregnant not because of your pouch, you just sounded so winded in the last 3-4 videos. You are BEAUTIFUL!!! I have followed you on this channel and the other channel and I have commented on the love you and Ryan share for each other and your children….it is beautiful. On a side note… know that I pray for you and Ryan and without saying too much…, it’s horrible and downright cruel what you and your family has had to succumb too. Love from IL!
"When Calls the Heart" Fan over here too with a mum pouch 😂. I enjoy watching Little House on the Prairie. Some episodes can be a little different, but the series is good otherwise. "When calls the heart" also has a spin-off series called "when hope call"
I also have the same problem i had 3 children one c section and 6 years later i had 2 boys 13 mths apart with preaclamcia all 3 i ended up with my prolapse and had a hysterectomy at 26years old i was left with a big undertuck hanging but i have 3 beautiful children and now 5 beautiful grandchildren and I've been blessed with a wonderful Husband who loves me just the way i am and after all these years im 51 ive excepted my body i still try to loose weight but i know that my stomach won't change without major surgery but my point is if you're Husband finds you attractive that's all that matters it took me a long time to get to this point ❤❤
Hi! I just happened to see your channel. I'm a homeschooling mom to 4 kids. Love to see what other people's schedules are like. Look forward to watching your videos. 😊
I love When Calls the Heart! I'm on Season 3. :) Other show recommendations would be I Love Lucy and Loretta Young Show. I love watching your videos while eating or cleaning. Your voice is calming. ❤ Also, I'm 23 years old (single) and have a pouch. Kids ask me if I'm pregnant. 🙃
Rice is one of the first things my mother taught me to make and I make it on the stove. I had one of those rice cookers and it never comes out how I want it lol. I just enjoy cooking and experimenting.
Hi Tabitha, it's so good to see you this morning. You are one of my favorite people to catch up with. I had someone ask how far along I was a couple of months after I had one of my kids, it really scars your self confidence! I totally get it, I've had 7 kids, my body is definitely not super model status! I cook rice on the stove, and I suck at it. I have actually been thinking about getting a rice cooker. Homeschooling also takes up most of our day, sometimes its hard to get anything done I love your chicken basket, and stamp, so cute. I hope your day is blessed!❤
Just remembered you asked for recommendations on shows to watch. I think you might enjoy some of the British series such as Call The Midwife, Born And Bred , Doc Martin, Heartbeat, Downton Abbey, to name a few. All very wholesome shows in my opinion with engrossing storylines and great script writing.
Love that dress ! Where’d you get it from? I love when calls the heart, my daughter and I just started watching it from the beginning 😊 we are a homeschooling for the first time this year with 3 kiddos. Thank you for sharing your life with us and inspiring us !!
Hi Tabitha! I get it with the pooch. Lol my son is 31 and never lost it. I had a C-section and that didn't help. Your videos are so calming. I'm in your area too! Do you go to the Aldi's at Knapps corner ever? I have been in a bit but that one was so nice. We have one on Alpine where I live and that one's ok. Those egg containers are so cute!! ❤❤
Those comments! Makes me so upset! 5 pregnancy’s 4 babies here with us my tummy still pops out and I am always insecure about it BUUTTT it’s my natural body 🤷🏻♀️ skinny everywhere else! Trying to embrace my mom tum 😅
Totally understand the embarrassment as I live this same moment as well. Mama pooch club here too! ❤️ If you’ve never watched The Chosen, I will always recommend that at the top of my list!
Thanks. I was looking on their website and can’t find anything that looks similar. Do you have multiple notebooks together? Maybe they are selling the same thing? Nicki
I’m not a Christian, I’m not a SAHM, and I don’t homeschool, but I love your videos! I have a different path in life I guess, but watching you take so much pride in your home and children really inspires me ❤
Hi Tabitha. I enjoy your videos and admire your energy! After filling out a lengthy questionnaire on Proven website for the intro 3 products, and tried to purchase, the message, "this discount does not apply to this promotion" or something very similar. Just wanted you to know.
Oh my goodness, you are not fat. You look beautiful. I never noticed your tummy. 5 c-sections here, so I've totally got a mommy pooch. My love of French fries doesn't help 😅
I’m not a mom or wife but I enjoy taking care of my home and the people in it when I had family or friends over. When God blesses you with a home you take care of it. I feel you about connecting. I miss the live but by the comments peoples shouldn’t be asking… I miss the last two kids you had because I wasn’t on 😁 so I had to catch up, but I think you are beautiful and brave and you are thriving in your lifestyle and devotion. I just sometimes worry if you are tired because being a mom is not easy but I know God laid this on your heart and you chose this. I watched my mom with five kids and my father was abusive every day and didn’t work and just used us. So glad those days are over. But I know that’s not the case. Every one I know is miserable being a wife and mother. Only one is my aunt and uncle and they been married for 53 years. Other than that I’m not going to let that influence me. I love being home. Working is making me have severe anxiety and depression and I’ve been working since I was a kid… I’m not lazy, I’m always working but when they say you can have it all they lied. Is it so bad that I want to be the woman God called me to be but how in this society we live in? I’m all about slow living and minimalism. I feel like the Godly man I want is on another planet or hasn’t been born yet lol.
How come other countries have pelvic floor therapy and abdominal work as part of postpartum healthcare, but here we just gotta deal with it or pay extra? 😉
