A lot of people are asking in the comments to give credit to the people who filmed and edited this video. I just wanted to let everyone know that I shot and edited this video myself. I make these Day in the Life videos in this way to highlight the simple beauty of the Thai people's spirits. I focus all my energy on the filming and editing and intentionally don't put myself in the video or as a voiceover, as I feel it's best to just let the stories speak for themselves. Your comments below really feel good to read, because many of you are totally seeing the point of these videos which, in this case, is to showcase what a beautiful joyous spirit this Thai Teacher is, and how we should all feel just a little bit luckier with our own lives. Much love everyone and thanks to all who commented below.

There are often questions, why not build roads? Hill tribe villages are often located in forests upstream or in the national park area. Therefore, the decision to build a road or bring prosperity into it. Will cause important forests and wildlife to be destroyed. Forest areas will be encroached on to create resorts, such as the forest areas in Phetchabun that have been destroyed by resorts and tourism. Therefore, it can be seen that the mountain school will build a villa. for teachers and students to live during school term And there is an area to grow vegetables and raise animals for food

I can totally relate with this video as, on behalf of the company I worked for before I retired, I worked a lot with the Border Patrol Police schools in locations around the country no less remote than this school in Mae Hong Son Province. I know for a fact that these teachers are very dedicated, and they wouldn't have it any other ways. My staff and I had it easy as we usually fly in and out onboard police or Army helicopters on dedication days and to oversee the construction of a school building here, a dormitory there, etc. Every year we will also bring up volunteer employees from the company to help build something or simply just to help paint new buildings. My work was very satisfying, and perhaps that's why good karma has kept me alive to these days despite flying in and out of the jungle almost monthly on 20-30-year-old military helicopters, not counting flying to-and-flo from Bangkok. BTW, the video was exceptionally good! Oh, these people are of Pagagayaw tribe. They are very resilient. The two teachers also speak the Pagagayaw language to each other so I surmise they are also Pagagayaw.

Some footages reminded me of the King Rama 9 and his visit to the hill tribes. His jeep was in the stream like this and also in the dark. Later, the king initiated his royal project "dltv" (distance learning television) to help the education in the rural area. The project continue until today and became more recognized again during the pandemic. However, having teachers to nurture the kids physically in the community is important for healthy education. Thank you Christ, I care, and whoever involved in this project to improve the life condition of the teachers. (and also the community) The happiness of giving is contagious and by your effort filming and sharing this to us, I hope there will be more & more multiply effect from it. And more people can smile and say like the teacher said "though I'm tired, I am happy" and really feel how it's like. Happy belated birthday to you ka ลุงคริส 😊🙏🏻

I love this. Absolutely humanizing to watch this video. I appreciate content like this because it helps one to also remember how blessed we are to have the little that we got and I really salute the heart of the teacher because she is literally doing Gods work caring for these young kids and it’s crazy too see the jungle journey she goes through just to get up and teach. She’s on a mission and she deserves that new home! 🙏🏽❤️

As others have requested as well, please try and make a video showing ‘a day in the life as a squid fisher’ or just showcase those boats out by the sea that has the colored light during the night. Something truly spectacular seeing the lights at nighttime from all the fishing boats down by ChonBuri.

Love the video, man. I came over here after watching your birthday video, as you suggested, and you did not steer me wrong. I live in a rural place, but it is nothing like that. What tough, beautiful people.
