Thanks! If ur talking about the video itself, I used Premiere Pro. But, if ur talking about the actual device...it was made out of plastic. Some parts were laser cut and others were 3D printed. For, the electric infrastructure, we used an Arduino.
Hey, quick question, I'm going to Waterloo as a first-year, and what res do you recommend for engineering students, should I even go on res for fall? since the courses are a blend of online and in-person?
Hmm that’s tricky. The benefit of res is that u get to meet people and make friends. So if ur going to university not knowing anyone, maybe consider V1 or similar ones? That way u get to meet a ton of ppl since everyone there is looking to make friends.
What part of the project did you work on? did you do any of the software or just the electrical/mechanical? I'm hung up between ME and CE and just wanted to see what range mechanical engineers can do.
I worked on mainly the mechanical and electrical. I didn’t do much software 😅 but there’s actually quite a few ppl in my mechanical class that are now working in software since they just taught themselves software on their own time
Awesome stuff man....this video is so helpful! I'm in a senior year of my high school and I'm at a crossroad between Software and Civil engineering. Your videos are so motivating 💖💖💖. May I know what type of engineering you are studying? Sorry if you have mentioned it before, I haven't seen you other videos yet!
I studied mechanical engineering. If you’re stuck between software and civil, it first comes down to what you enjoy more. But, just keep in mind that software has higher job prospects and greater pay compared to civil.
How do you take notes and follow along with the example problems and understand if you watch it at 2x speed. I have to keep rewinding every 20 seconds which is so annoying since it takes forever. How do I stop doing this?
I sometimes have to rewind too, so it’s not necessarily a bad thing. But, in general, I try to minimize the amount of times I rewind by pretending it’s an in-person lecture. That way, I don’t end up spending long hours on just one lecture. Also, my professor tends to speak really slow lol
This was a really great video, it was referred to me because I've been searching biomedical engineering a lot,im considering. Nice project, hope you win some money haha
@@TamerShaheen btw, what cad program did you guys use for modeling your product and for the animation. Please if you could make a video or explain the animation.
@@TamerShaheen oh I was actually talking about references from teachers for uni applications, particularly for "top universities" like Waterloo, UofT, etc.
For sure, I have more videos like that coming up. For now, u should check out my video on “How to get an Internship at Apple” where I talk about resumes.
Hey I have probably a dumb question but is your team all studying mechanical engineering or are you each studying something different and working together on this. I'm just applying to schools but I'm unsure if I want to study either electrical, mechanical or computer engineering. And thanks for uploading these videos I've watched a few of them and they really help me out.
That’s not a dumb question at all. My friends and I all studied mechanical engineering. To choose ur major, it all depends on what u enjoy doing. For example, are you more interested in designing a phone or working on the inner electronics?
@@TamerShaheen I would rather do the inner electronics rather than physically build the phone if that's what you mean. I mean I'd like to do both but would prefer the inner electronics part.
