Hey guys! Excited to take you through a day in my life as an accountant. I've been in accounting for 8 years. I work that job fulltime and I am an influencer part time as well. Here is what my day looks like :) Hope you guys enjoy!

Girl yess I know about that accounting life. I started as an operations accountant last June and had two people on my team and they both left 3 weeks between each other this past month. I am stressed cause I know month,quarter, year-end is coming 6/30 for me and I am stressed cause I’ll be by myself and will have to train the next person they hire...talk about HECTIC!! I love my job but it has its crazy times lol!

You're strong girl. I used to do accounts for various places I've worked. I love accounting but when it got hectic is a different thing and I felt like tearing my hair out lol. Hats off to you girl. It's a blessing to have a job so many don't as myself. I'm still trying my hands at being a virtual assistant. No clients as yet but I ain't giving up. Have a great week.

I used to want to be an accountant until I saw the craziness and long hours at close. I work in an office of accountants and they are always frustrated and stressed at close

I’m not an accountant (I handle disability accommodations) but working a 9-5 where I’m thankfully working from home definitely can be draining. Those breaks are so needed! Btw I got that tumbler and it has been a lifesaver. I sit by my window and I feel like I’m constantly drinking so much water.

You can do returns as sephora for anything that doesn't work for you. Keep your receipt and look for time period. Never keep anything from them that doesn't work for you!

Would you recommend accounting as a career? I honestly have no passions in college and would like some assistance with my choices..? If you could do something else what would you do?

I recommend accounting if you want something stable, corporate, and easy to climb the corporate ladder and make good money. I would be an influencer full time because I absolutely love everything about it. I would suggest chatting with a counselor to help you with choice. Think of what you love to do, and turn it into a career. The sky is the limit.

Just wanted to jump in and say if you haven't already try doing internships or even part-time jobs, it really helps to see first hand what you might like to do :) even having a real basic entry level part time gig in an office will let you see what all goes on in a business and you might have a better idea at what you'd like. It's so hard to figure out what you like just based on taking classes!

Hey Ash be careful with that Lakey music. I love me some Lakey, buuuut the song he used to have called "Distant" no longer belong to him. As well as other songs he had.
