Went to daybird for the first time december last year and had a pretty disappointing experience. I walk in and the restaurant is completely empty to the point where the cook isn’t even in sight. The cashier was some younger lady that just dgaf at all and was so angsty for no good reason. She was so soft spoken I literally just had to guess what she was saying for 50% of the interaction. The fried chicken sando was so dried out and tough it was mainly just breading. I actually really enjoyed their fish sandwich but i definitely do agree with you guys on it needing more acidity. That place isn’t worth the hype at all.

Sorry to hear about your experience at Daybird. Their chicken sando was one of our favorite bites in 2021, though we havent had it since. We still love and get their chicken tenders and fries!
