Great video. I like all of them. Can you tell me the difference between using the trailer in the truck? What makes you think I’m gonna use the trailer today instead of truck? I ask because I’m thinking about either a mini skid or a small trailer

Yeah just did a calculation for another comment and noticable loss is at 366.5 ft for 3/8" at 4gpm.

@@seattleprowash5464 yeah we’re struggling with a lot of asphalt cleaning! We’ve landed a 2 year contract to clean up after a large rubbish bin and dumpsters company and have yet to find the magic cleaning solutions for any type of oil/grease staining. I have a hot water machine that does very little for cleaning asphalt. Luckily I’ve only had compliments 7 months in as I think most people understand that asphalt is a beast to clean but appreciate the hours of effort we put in.

@@thomasdepontes5273 yeah it's because asphalt is itself and oil products and ordinary degreasers can damage it and hot water can bring it closer back to a state of liquid like when it's hot mix and cause damage. Only thing you can do is rinse it off.

@@thomasdepontes5273 can you sub the work to a vac truck? The street sweeper guys can often do it in 10 minutes, I could be wrong though!

@@seattleprowash5464 Thank you! That’s probably the best suggestion I’ve had so far! I’ll start calling around to explore the possibilities. Oddly enough I’ve never considered subbing out the work and always looked for ways to get the job done myself. I’ll continue to ask around for other cleaning possibilities cause the demand here is huge, however like you guys been saying, maybe there’s no actual way of cleaning asphalt and people are just going to have to except whatever results we can provide without causing damage 🤷🏽‍♂️.

Thanks What if your main focus is just houses. Is 200ft more than enough. Or can I get away with 150ft, or what do you recommend. I have a 4 gpm washer. They say you can only use 150ft max? Your thoughts?

@@shaun5450 it all depends on how close you can get to the house. And that max is just like when the length of hose puts enough friction loss on the flow of water that the psi level gets affected. That's why some people set up their pressure washer with 1/2" hose for the first 50 feet so there's less of that friction loss for the first 50ft if you only need 50ft or 150 ft (50' 1/2" then 100' 3/8")of hose to do the job. If you have a quick connect pressure gauge you can see how much psi the washer is putting out at the pump and then move the gauge to the end of the 100' or 200' of hose and see what the pressure lose is. Concrete cleaning needs 2500-300psi so if you're still at that range with 150 or 200ft of hose then you should be fine. From a friction head loss calculator I just used online 3/8" line doesn't have noticable loss until 366.5 feet for 4 gpm.

@@AustinDavis24 Perfect, do you think you can answer one more question? With your proportioner system, how do you go about the surfactant (soap)? What do you use, and do you dilute it first in a tank then dilute it even more on the proportioner. What are the ratios?

@@gusbiesecker8677 yea I have a 16 gallon soap tank that I run 1 gallon of surfactant to 10 gallons of water. Then I pull it through the proportioner. I use about a 2 on the proportioner. Works perfect

@@AustinDavis24 I got a homemade proportioner with same valves would you say 2 is a quarter turn and how long do you think one batch lasts you? Really appreciate your time and help!

@@Swschrader chest mount for the go pro camera. Look like " FIRM GRIP Nitrile Dipped Glove" gloves you can buy at Lowe's and home Depot.

Usually from what I see it's just to clear any obstructions or items like twigs,leaves and mud but not usually to get it back to bare paint.

If I remember correctly it's a remco 7 gpm pump.

Wet and forget. I never rinse roofs. Even if it Dosent rain
