Hi Evie, we grew bird cover on our farm in Northern Ireland, there was a maximum of two and a half acres or one hectare if you work in hectares allowed in any one field and it was a five year scheme meaning you had to plant bird cover for five years, we saw a marked increase in Yellow hammers, pheasants and hedge sparrows

That Kramer works hard I worked for 🇺🇸hydraulic screw in cartridge valves and manifolds They started up around 1986 north of Chicago and wanted to open a factory in 🏴🇬🇧 They did that around 1993/4 Kramer was one of my customers I retired in 2016 🏴🏴❤️❤️❤️❤️
There's something about the smell of hay. Can still remember as a little kid watching truckloads of hay being delivered to my Grandad's farm ahead of the need for feeding out during winter in the lower South Island of NZ. If I was lucky I was the one allowed to stand in the back of the old ute he used to do that and feed the sheep while he drove. Good times. Cold, but good.
