I feed birds. I have nests all over my yard, it's why some of my ferns look so terrible lol Usually birds will not nest SO close to the food source, because the food source attracts so much attention. Some Squirrels will eat bird eggs. and Blue Jays, for instance, are very aggressive. I think the house is hidden enough to attract some newlyweds to flutter by and take up residence, but maybe do not put the food directly under their house! and take a rope and tie the base of the house to the tree. What pool do you swim in? your neighborhood association pool? Great way to start the day.

I love your videos. I live in MA and I like to enjoy every moment of my short summer, I giggle when you talk about fall in Orlando. I saw your last video in northern Canada and you said it is still hot here in Florida and in Canada I was sweating, it is still very much summer.

It might be that Your beautiful birdhouse is to close to the ground, near curious pet level, and other possible predators such as raccoons, possums, Florida alligators, ants etc. Good luck

Cute birdhouses… the original one is a bit low to the ground. Birds would be concerned about predators at that height. I hope they inhabit your new one!

Allison…love your videos! The birdhouse next to the garage is decorative , but for a bird to go in there, it is WAY to LOW to the ground….they look at it as UNSAFE from cats,etc……..maybe have Brandon on a ladder to hang the new one HIGHER. Sometimes houses have to weather for a year to rid of all the odors from the varnish etc on new ones…good luck! Birds dont want people peering into their houses! They should be higher than you are!
