How do u manage to jump those height without being so nervous omg 😭 I have a horse who is more than willing (she’s jumped a 1m 50 fence before ) but my nerves cause her to refuse I really need help any help would be appreciated 💚💘💚
It’s definitely something that will come with time! Try not to let the bigger heights change the way you ride. It’s easy to change the way we ride when the jumps get bigger and want more speed etc! Keep everything the same. If you’ve got a good canter rhythm, the strides will come and you’ll be flying in no time💗
Molly & Ella Showjumping thank you so much thats a thing I do I tend to rush into bigger fences when it should be the other way 😂 thank you so much 💚💘💚
What I would do is set up a double, the first jump can be at a height your comfortable at then about 3 or 4 strides away set up a bigger jump. That way you can ride to the smaller jump with confidence and then continue straight after to the bigger jump so you don't have time to change your riding if that makes sense. There's less time for eras and your horse will have the rythym.
I think I already commented as I liked it but just rewatched and seriously you 2 are incredible riders and so freaking brave!!! Don't know how you do it with no gloves either! I was dead after my lesson this week. Im now riding a very strong (MUST be ridden) hunter type horse called Arba, he's big too and even going over crosspoles he HATES turning midway down the arena and if I don't give EXACTLY the right cues in my body and legs he'll go tearing off in any direction which scares me and then getting him to stop is a huge struggle. He's a LOT of horse for me as upgraded to him and wow lesson was Friday and im absolutely dying today in my shoulders and back from where I tensed waaaaaay too much when he totally took control (and the mick) out of me for the last 10mins of it. Sadly with lockdown currently my lessons are cancelled 😞 but managed to sneak a purely flatwork dressage lesson in on Wednesday on him to try and gain control but so worried for then 4wks off... my confidence is so fragile and was already knocked by March's lockdown... just hope I can get it back ASAP on him as I need to or I'll have to ride someone else. But he's just what I want and need (ie height, build -needs to lose a bit mind, jumps hugh and is bold in XC) but yeah... nervous to say the least. Watching as many vlogs as I can to help me during the break remember stuff! So I look at your hands and leg position and body etc, its really helpful! Thank you for sharing things, please continue to!!
Thank you for such a lovely and supportive comment. He sounds like a lovely horse even though you struggle a bit! The best ones are the most challenging😛 I’m sure you’ll be back soon and get your confidence back!! We will be uploading lots over lockdown💗
hello, i was second on my dads phone but he wasn't signed n so i couldn't comment or like😔 but great vid once again , i can't believe you now have 5.52K subs its amazing you know the thing you showed it was blue with black bristles and a sponge in the middle and the little screw on water container, we have one for sky and it really works miracles. Georgia
Is the bay just a spooky jumper or a dirty stopper? The jumps he stopped at seemed pretty simple lol. I will say though he has such a beautiful stride and jump I can tell he's incredibly talented
Neither really, he can be quite spooky but he is just having it on!! He’s been round the exact course a couple weeks ago without stops, and will never stop at home (like never). But he’s a mare in a geldings body and he’s just trying to see if he can get away with it🤣. Although he is 13 he has only done two shows so lacks experience, and he’s been a pet his whole life with no one telling him right from wrong!! Xx
@@mollyellashowjumping3836 I assume they're"nylon" netted hay bags you hang in horse's stables? I don't know the official name of them but you full the with hay.
@@mollyellashowjumping3836 Well I'm sure she learned her lesson, it brought her to tears, and she no longer uses them. However, I think they're great, I just thought I'd warn people it could happen if the bag isn't correctly hung.
Ella is taller, but Molly is older! Molly has been riding more years but both have different strengths and weaknesses and both have ridden different types of horses! Molly has ridden the more sensitive mares, and Ella some difficult geldings!
this is good advice but i think you should fence off that apple tree in the boys field, this is because if your horses eat too many apples they can get sick but it’s entirely up to you i’m not judging you or anyone xxx
