I am a medical student in the UK and just spent 4 weeks on my elective placement in Italy! This video is for anyone who is considering doing a medical elective abroad during your summer break! I think travelling and exploring different healthcare systems is one of the most valuable things you can do while in medical school and in this video you get to see what a surgical elective in Verona looks like!
