I have been watching you now for about two months and enjoy you so much. I am also mostly a sock knitter but toe up. Once I discovered them I haven’t gone back. Always socks on my needles, two sets of DPNs and make them two at a time on. I also knit while I watch and I enjoy that too.

I like the vlogs. I'm not on instagram so, I miss out on the shop, new sock cast ons and family updates. It's super exciting that you're opening a online shop (non-etsy). It's one step closer to a brick and mortar store. Plus when you do open your brick and mortar store, you'll still need a online shop and switching now will be one less thing you'll have to do later. I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day/week. 😊

Love a good cold brew. I get it black too. We have 4 local coffee shops within walking distance of my house and I like the one that is furthest best (it's a little over a mile away)

For taat socks, I pull from the inside of a yarn cake and the outside. Saves me from having to weigh the yarn and make 2 cakes. and the yarn doesnt twist too badly and if it does its not too hard to untwist. I generally dont care if the socks are all matchy matchy.

I liked this format! After you caked your skein, did you have a plastic pull thing in the center of the yarn? I’ve not seen that before and assume it’s to make it easier to grab.
