Love your videos. Your family seems so happy and chilled and the kids are so lovely. I just had my second and am struggling with the eldest feeling unsettled by new baby's arrival and starting to reject me and favour Dad. Any advice on how to not get upset by this and how to encourage him to accept his little brother?

I'm so sorry Rachel 🤍 if my children have ever been that way I never let it get to me because from experience they always favour mummy or daddy and it changes often so when they favour daddy I know they love me still but try and just be happy that they do love their daddy and being with him because nothing will ever change how much he loves you. You're his mummy and he will adore you. Honestly in not long he will swap to who he prefers. Perhaps once the baby is a little older which happens so quickly and is less attached to you and once that happens the baby will see more like a friend to them than a rival. I know the area well. I live just a few miles away. The children’s reaction to seeing the cows 🐮 😂 was brilliant. I hope the countryside fresh air knocked them out. 😂 Was this your first visit to Wales? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 I hope you all enjoyed here. xx

I’m glad you all enjoyed. 🥰 Come back again soon. There’s a lot here for the children to enjoy. It will take years for you to get to know the country, it’s too much to try and fit in a lot in one visit. If you’re a member of English Heritage , you might be able to get into the Wales equivalent sites ( called Cadw ) at a reduced rate. Fantastic value for families visiting castles, museums etc. Some places here are free, like Saint Fagans in Cardiff. You just pay to park. A day out there will tire out the kids. Look In motorway services for tourist leaflets, you’ll get lots of ideas and good deals in vouchers or codes. xx

Lovely little home you had there to stay in. Curtis 30 is nothing, my daughter recently had her 30th and she felt the same as you, she was saying “Omg Rowan (her fiance) “has found my first grey hair” 😂 I’m sure he didn’t, was winding her up. Wait til you hit 50, I did last year and omg 😮 I felt so old, even 40 didn’t bother me but now I’m 51 and creak when I get up off the floor 😂x
