DAY IN THE LIFE WITH A NEWBORN BABY 2020 UK, How Often to Feed a Newborn, How to Stimulate a Newborn
This is just a typical day for us, George is now 8 weeks old (7 weeks in this video) and feeds around 6oz every 3:30-4:00 hours. We have one full on play time a day where we use baby sensory videos, books and toys to stimulate him. The rest of the time is spent, changing nappies, napping and cuddling. The newborn life is truly a magical time!
I know people will have MANY opinions on the way I look after my baby, but please remember to be kind, or just know when to say nothing at all. No room for negativity here please xo

Love this video! The hair hack is really good isn’t it, I’ve added it into one of my videos. I can’t believe how calm George is especially when due for a bottle! I definitely need to make one of these videos before we are out of newborn phase to be able to look back on! 💕

I used to loooove newborn videos like this. Used to watch them a lot being pregnant with my first. Must say my newborn was nothing like this. She screamer bloody murder the second she opened het eyes after sleeping for 3 months straight. It was absolutely terrifying. Now almost a year old and she doing so well. I hope I get to have such a lovely newborn like George one day.

Hi Shan becareful placing your cot next to the window and radiator...May impact George's sleep! espically day naps if your blinds aren't completely black out! just a thought! xx

It’s more about heat than sleeping can cause baby to over heat in summer due to window or over heat in winter or even being too cold in winter if radiator is switched off s.i.d.s guidelines our sons Moses basket is at the bottom of our bed because of this it’s a funny shaped room so where the bed is the space next to it is next to both radiator and window

I’m 21 and so is my partner, we have been ttc since June but we are both quite worried about possible negativity at being “young parents”. Again sorry if this is too personal xx

I have the same problem.. 9 week baby feeds every 2hours.. 2/3 oz big baby but tiny tummy.. Feel like the whole day is spending feeding or worrying about him taking enough milk..

@@besalauresa6054 just saw your comment! Mine was 16 lb at 9 weeks so I feel you. He's 16 weeks now almost 20 lb feeds every 3 hours during the day 4-5 oz and twice at night 7-8 oz. Can't wait to wean!

Hey babe! Just wondering what size your little boy is wearing in the love to dream swaddle. Im stuck on which size to buy, im due next month. Newborn is 5Ib to 8Ib. And then obviously the size small is 8Ib onwards xx

I would really like to relate to you on the feeding area but i’m breastfeeding so I have to do it every 2-3 hours for my 10 week old. I WISH I could go every 4 hours. It would make everything easier.

Your videos are so so helpful, my baby is 10 days old and really struggling to see the light at the end of the tunnel, I am breast-feeding but expressing and then bottle. How many oz did you give in the first 2 weeks?

Aw thank you! I’m not sure how much weight I put on to be honest, I never really checked!! I was a size 8 before and now I’m a size 10/12, but slowly losing it - deffo no rush though haha! Just need my will power to stay away from convenience foods haha (easier said than done!) xxx

We have yeah! It’s absolutely fined so it’s the cow and gate - we just can’t always get to an Aldi as it’s further away than Tesco for us! X

I'm currently 20 +3 weeks and I love this video, lockdown boredom has me so stressed about routines and where can I put the baby when I clean and blah blah and this made me feel so much more relaxed! Its so funny to watch aswell because i also live in military housing so we have the same kitchen 😆 Please can you link where you got his little sleeping bag from?? Xx

Hi, would you recommend the swaddle you are using for George to sleep in from newborn? I’m due in 9 weeks and havnt got a clue whether to use one of these or a sleeping sack or a swaddle blanket 🙈 x

Hey! I would 100% recommend it! Just check the weight chart on their website to know which size is best for your little one (George is now 11lbs (ish) and in size small) xxx

I’m 32 weeks pregnant. How have you found everything during the pandemic? Not the birth etc but being a first time mum. I’m worried we won’t be able to have visitors at the house like parents, grandparents etc! You seem really upbeat and I’m super worried about the social aspect of everything.
