The days my husband has a lot of work and I’m home alone with the baby I just think to myself how hard it must be for single parents! Co-parent or not, when you don’t have any help at home it is really hard. You are doing great! I love all of your videos!! 💗💗
You’re a great mom! It’s a lot of multi tasking being a single parent when they are so little especially. My daughter is 3 now, and I’m really enjoying it! She’s gotten way more independent and that’s given me more quality time for myself. Something to look forward to with toddlerhood! Respect to you Momma!

Our babies are exactly a month apart so my daughter Ellie turns one in less than two weeks and I just had my second daughter Isla who is just over a week old 😩. I’ve been following you since I was pregnant and I absolutely love your videos. Love you girls !!
Saaaame girl saaaame. I take care of my baby 90% of the time and getting ready, making a meal, showering is a game of juggling making sure she’s safe while I’m doing things. It’s crazy. And yes I put a Disney movie for background noise and for her to watch if I need a break, no guilt, we have to do what we can to keep our sanities.
Thank you Brittany for helping me realize what an accomplishment being 1 year postpartum is 🙌🏼 I made myself a whole pamper day for my 1 year postpartum gift (I haven’t had a haircut in over 5 years!)
She is definitely attempting to communicate in her own way! My son is 2 weeks younger than Arrow, and he does similar things He says mamamama quite frequently lol but I don’t think he has tied mama to me Lol he also tries to say words it seems but hasn’t quite figured out what to do with his tongue and lips lol But if he wants a snack he slaps the bag and looks at me haha
Same here with my 6 month old daughter lol. She can't say much words apart from mama and a couple of others. She hasn't figured out what to do with her tongue yet
Something that really helped my nephew was to get him his own phone, laptop, camera or whatever it was that he wanted. Whether it was just an old phone no one needed or a toy. Essentials just trying to copy us and do what grownups do

My babe is 10 months old and I am incorporating things for what they call terrible twos when they push limits and have their own personality. Not so much for her but I NEED the practice! ahhaah! From my understanding, it is overwhelming for them, as much as it is for us, parents. Giving them two choices and letting them choose, helps give them some authority instead of being told what to do all the time. I hope that helps!😊
Love the high chair! We got the same one after watching your videos :) I noticed that Arrow is quite a bit taller than my LO and we’ve lowered his footplate already. I think Arrow is ready to have the footplate lowered too! Keep posting Brittany!
Redirecting is key. I would also suggest using the soft spoken words of affirmation on what you want Arrow to avoid and what is safe. 1. Keep calm and grounded, 2. Get low/ get to childs level, 3. soften tone of voice, 4. Explain in age appropriate, 5. Redirect, 6. Rejoice a good thing. Remember we're all learning as we go, you're doing great and days will be busy you will feel exhausted you will feel drained. This vlog is raw and down to earth. When you hear Arrow say a word repeat what shes saying it will help word association. See you Monday:)
Honest question- how do you manage all these fun activities through COVID? I’m vaccinated, but my little one is obviously not yet. I feel torn between doing activities and protecting her
true.. i have 3 kids, 5, 3 and 10 month, but I'm not ready yet... older ones miss their friends, kindergarten and fun at the park but i can not imagine it! i am 25, so maybe i would get through without severe simptoms, kids too.. but it's a maybe, and may be different.. I dont want to find out. I guess i' ll wait a little longer when most of the population is vaccinated. it wouldnt hurt if we werent in portugal, highly affected right now... All the best
I can SO relate to struggling doing everything one handed and barely having time to eat😅 I totally use screen time when worst comes to worst. Don’t feel guilty! Whatever gets the job done ❤️ (this is more a reminder for myself and other moms haha, I still feel guilty at times)
Oh my gosh. My 8 1/2 month old is just as sassy right now! Oh I feel the struggle! My favorite part was her giggle while she was playing with the camera. Stickin cutie!
My little just turned one too and when we were watching the video and Arrow would go out of shot, my daughter would point at the screen and cry wanting Arrow to come back 😂🥰❤
