I generally like rock and Jonathan Young too, but this one in particular still doesn't beat the original TFS Day of Fate cover imo. It somehow has smoother lyrics, but I prefer the more accented delivery in the other one.
OK! Most of the people in the mustache song were voice actors for the abridged characters. The person who started and ended the song was voice of Vegeta, who I believe also voices Krillin and Popo. Voice of Frieza is Lil Kuriboh maker of Yugioh abridged. And he voices 95% of the cast in Yugioh abridged. And it is SUPER impressive. Some voices may be better than others, but he NAILS the main roles. I saw some voice actors for Hellsing abridged as well, and also the nostalgia critic staff from back in the day. He was the spazzing guy at the end. But I am also in the dark of quite a few cameos as well. I know there were A LOT.
Indeed. I suspect the goombah plushie was a stand-in for Gaijin Goombah, a video game reviewer who emphasizes cultural elements. I'm pretty sure I saw the Completionist crew as well, which he's associated with.
To be fair metal is - or rather has evolved into - less of an actual genre and more of a collection of a wide variety of genres that are only very loosely connected. From beautiful mixes of full orchestras with subtle e-guitar to deafening double-base, nerve wrecking stuff where the "lyrics" sound more like animal noises than words and anything in between. While this version of Day of Fate is near the lower end of the "aggression scale" if you will, there are even softer songs that are still counted as metal. That's why I think just calling a song "metal" without clarifying what kind of metal it is, is pretty much useless as a classification. Just like saying "anime" as a genre give you absolutely no idea whether the movie or series is a hyper-violent R-rated piece of media or something wholesome suited for children. Or "Jazz" being anything from slightly harder sing-along songs or something that sounds like a chaotic cacophony with the musicians playing against rather than with each other (yeah... I hate Free Jazz, even though I like a lot of other kinds of Jazz).

Just keep in mind that the Tuffles were supposed to be the race that inhabited planet Vegeta before the Saiyans came and exterminated them and stole their planet. Not all the Saiyans were on Planet Vegeta when Frieza blew it up. Like you said, Broly and his father were on Vampa, Goku was on Earth, Tarble was God knows where, Vegeta Nappa Raditz and a handful of no name grunts were out on a mission. So not all the Saiyans were killed.

The gray creature is a Team Four Star original character. They did a playthrough of Dragon Ball Xenoverse as a male Majin. They made him as small as possible and named him Dumplin. His backstory is he was created by a wish on the Eternal Dragon, the wish being to summon a powerful fighter. Shenron then summoned forth a short gray Majin known as Dumplin, and he proceeded to rescue the DBZ timeline, where he grew mightier, learning the moves of history's greatest warriors, including Vegeta's Final Flash, which he rubbed the "Last Blast". He eventually married the main female villain of the game and had a daughter named Puddin, a tall and thin Majin girl with a perpetual cat smile and a heart full of justice and an immense love of battle! As his daughter, the protagonist of their Xenoverse 2 playthrough, saved history, again, they were forced to kill her stepbrother and mother, and Dumplin, now the god of demons, became darker and darker, until he went back in time to become the greatest and mightiest being in the Z timeline: Lord Popo.
That grey pink blob thing was their video game OC Demon God Dumplin, the god of love, master of the infinite fuck box. Across their Dragon Ball Xenoverse playthrough, they added more character and lore to their OC to where he was essentially the strongest thing in existence but didn't really do anything that he didn't want to. They dubbed him the god of love because he is and I quote "OMNI!! SEXUAL!!". And the "fuck box was an exploit in the game where they could stun-lock enemies for an infinite combo which evolved into "The fuck box is dumplins home dimension filled with tentacles and pleasure but it's way less sexual than one thinks" The real kicker? According to TFS head-canon Demon God Dumplin at the end of the Xenoverse playthrough becomes Mr.Popo

A couple of the people in the moustache video are people from team four star themselves and the nostalgia critic (the guy at the very end who spoke a line after the song). If you like this version of Day of Fate, you might like Sabaton too. They do somewhat similar music, with lyrics of historical events, people and the occasional ship. And they make awesome almost movie quality videos to many of their songs. Nappa, together with Vegeta and Raditz (Goku's brother) were off-planet on a mission for Freeza when planet Vegeta was blown up. And then Freeza told them it was destroyed in a collision with an asteroid and kept them working for him.
The weird gray fat thing you saw in the moustache video is dumplin, a majin (demon) that was created within the game dragon ball xenoverse 2 by tfs themselves (correct me if I am wrong in any parts anyone)

So lots of cameos in the Mustache song. Team Four Star themselves (the guy you said you're not Vegeta to is actually the voice of DBZA Vegeta, Krillin, and Piccolo among many others). Many of the random people in there are famous youtubers (people like the Nostalgia Critic, Gaijin Goomba, Linkara, etc) and lots of them have done voices for DBZA. The one lady who was dressed as Android 18 actually voiced 18 in the abridged series, for example. This is basically one big community video.
No mater how much i run into nonfans of metal, I will always be confused at their enjoyment of good metal. Just open yourself up. Metalheads are a welcoming bunch.
Nappa, Raditz, Vegeta, and apparently 2 other saiyans were off planet and only survived because Vegeta decided to not listen to the recall that freeza sent to all the saiyans
personally i would recommend going straight to hellsing abridged since the general story line is still the same, but tfs just shortened it and made it alot more comedic then the original which was more dark and moody with very sporadic and out of place comedy scenes that at times felt like they actually detracted from the the show.
In the manga those comedy scenes were either single-frame reactions or sort of bonus pages before the start or after the end of the actual chapter. Unfortunately they lenghtened and emphasized them too much for my liking for the OVA, particularly the Willis one. :/

Your opinions about the metal version pretty much matched my own perfectly. I'm not a big fan of metal in general (especially growling) and I prefer TFS's first version of the song, but this version was still pretty good. 3:25 Also, Toothless (the dragon) is rocking that moustache!

Hellsing Ultimate Abridged is at least half the length of the original episodes on its longest ones. The first two or three i believe are the shortest. But the rest are near or about the length of the DBZA movie specials so it would probably be close to watching a two and a half to three hour movie altogether.

Nappa, Raditz and Vegeta survived Planet Vegeta explosion because they was off to a far away planet on a mission when Frieza blew Planet Vegeta up. Goku survived Planet Vegeta because Bardock suspected Frieza was up to something, so Bardock and Gine who's canon as of the Super Broly movie sent Goku to Earth as a baby.
Who here knows about the first remix of this song in raging blast 2 days. Because we'll it was my first dbz game i bought with my own money and was able to get the special editions which back then games were a little cheaper back then that a kid can save up for back then i always had my parents by me dbz games before raging blast 2 came out.

I suggest you watch the original DBZ clips. Like when Goku goes super saiyan, Gokus sacrifice, and Gohan going super saiyan 2. There’s more but those are some of the main ones if you want to give it a try.

What content do they make? I shouldn't be expected to know a content creator that works in the anime field if I'm only on my second anime for example. If they make DBZ content I wasn't going to watch them since I knew nothing about DBZ until DBZA

They made like 4 top 10s on their tfs gaming channel. Every other list they have is for dbcember on their main channel. Check the former because they are pretty good, the latter ones are a celebration of Dragonball as whole that they do every year starting from 2014 cover different topics like moments, villains, games, etc.
