They sound a lovely group of ladies in your sewing group & such a nice thought that they bought the lovely fabric for you. The quilt is lovely & I am sure it will be treasured. I sew-or try to + do needlepoint & knit - nearly finished another Canadian log cabin blanket. Made one for my sister a couple of years ago & the one I’m doing at the moment will be for my niece & her hubby who live in an old cottage in Wales. 😊

Hi Alison they are a lovely group of ladies and it was such a nice generous gift I was overwhelmed .. feel I need to buy them a Thankyou gift now 😅 hopefully I’ll get my quilt finished I like knitting too although time constraints mean that I prioritise sewing x thanks for the lovely comment x

Hi it’s in penkridge Staffordshire if you find the Staffordshire sewist on Instagram she runs it but it is full quite often .. she does sometimes have spaces though so worth a try x there’s a new one opening up near Shrewsbury if your interested ? X
