Thats good to know thanks for sharing that info i did mean the new stock had been in there 5 or 6 years and there are meant to be some old original fish left in there👍

The originals were special fish, I believe they were breed by Bernard Hunt, who was Amy Roadstone fishery manager. The fish were the same strain as the original St. Ives complex fish. Back in the day there was about 30 fish in there.

I dont give a crap were a carp came from as long as ppl injoy fishing for them thats all that matters, let the hates hate. Also there is no such thing in my book has a true english carp they are all imports or have been spawned from imported fish. Let the hate begin.

@@banklifegarethcompton5714 ok cool...do you ever go river fishing...i recently discovered my local stream for fishing and its changed my outlook completely..Its only a few metres across and about a few foot deep but ive been catching trout and chub up to 5 pounds
