Never seen the appeal of salt as a feed, it’s been proven that they don’t actively eat salt. Can be effective for priming areas with large rocks prior to pre baiting an area

Great Video Guys , and a stern reminder we need to keep the banks clean . I always add grated belachan block and a dash of Squid Brand Fish sauce to my spod mix when fishing in warmer water (spring/summer) over my heavy fishmeal and spicy liver homemade boilies . Litter pisses me off an like you say, spoils it. I always have to pick it up incase whoever goes in next thinks its mine. What sort of creature craps in a bush next to swin an can then sit fishing next to it. Not like they did it as packing up. If i had a place like that i woukd do a walk around each time someone's packed up. Anythings left. BAN.

Absolutely spot on with the rent fella. Would love to hear the fisheries response to this. I’m not saying it their responsibility at all it’s ours as anglers. But surely people are booked on to a peg and as such can be held responsible if the issues are raised Not trying to come across as a snitch but this is our sport and we should be passionate about protecting it. Great Film! Really enjoyed it. Flaked Maize, Mixed sizes of pellets (2.3mm to 6mm), lots and lots of liquid usually the fish smart liquid, whole and mulched up boilies usually 12mm. That has seemed to be doing very well for me recently.

Enjoyed the vid, I'm new to carping however on the lake im currently learning on ive found Hemp seed, chopped krill boilie and a mixture of micros/4/6mm pellets soaked in capsicum oil works for me, my current pb which I caught last week is a 20.5lb mirror, can't wait to get my first 30 :D

I am new to trying to carp fish and still have not caught a monster, but I am not giving up. I have asked around and so far tried sweet corn, chopped earthworm, and dampened corn flakes cereal with kool-aid drink mix blended in and frozen before going out. I've also tried earthworms, bread, and boilies. I'm just going to keep doing some more research and trying your mixtures. I'm happy to have found your video.

My spod mix for this time of year: - Bollies, 10/12mm go in whole and the bigger sizes get chopped. Currently my go to is Mainline Essential Cell. - Bollie Crumb that has been glugged. - Some sweetcorn

Well done both of you, Hugh for catching his first Colne Valley Carp and Shaun for having the sphericals to tell it like it is. Some people would shy away from such a "Thorney" issue, especially you tube contributors . On a personal note, my spod mix at this time of year would probably consist of freshly made hemp with its juice, crumbed and whole small boilies and a selection of micro pellets covered with a good splash of matching boilie glug. Hemp, sweetcorn from the can, pellets and some jazzed up and coated boilies. Finished of with only a little dressing of hemp oil n a heavy oil to compliment the mix 🤪🤪🤪🤪 I just read that back and it nearly sounds like I'd order that for my self. We treat them well and feed them like Kings. Which is why the majority are so passionate about keeping the environment how we found it. Its the perfect platform and a respected angler with an audience. It was noticeable your discomfort on the subject but I feel it was relevant and the right place and the time to broach the subject 🎣🎣🎣🎣

Rubbish is my biggest annoyance in fishing and people in general, there are zero excuses for leaving rubbish around, you take it to the venue you can take it home again its as simple as that, more poeple should be banned from venues for this reason, all they do is ruin beautiful venues fro themselves and others and put wildlife at harm. Welldone for calling it out! 3 ingredients for my spod mix this time of year would be, trout pellets, sweetcorn and hemp. Just classics that never let you down. Great video again lads 👍

This was last year but I went fishing to a lake and there was a big pile of human poo and toilet paper in the middle if the swim I wanted to fish luckily the balif found it and had to clean it up! Spod mix, sweet corn , crushed boilie , liquid flavouring 🎉

rubbish does my head in really spoils a good fishery. and spod would be hemp corn and boilie altho id ditch the boilie and add a second dose of hemp lol

Well said on rubbish, as far as the mix is concerned, boilies different sizes, including chops, pellets again different sizes and some liquid coating the boilies plus some powder to coat the boilies, I.e. DNA insect meal.

I've just used the new parkerbaits nossanuts particles sweetcorn and some parkerbaits og fish 18 mil bollies top off with the parkerbaits sauce great session lads enjoyed as for the rubbish it really misses me off to see angler's leaving rubbish behind them take a black bag or 2 and take yr shit home 🎣👊💯
