Haha this really makes me happy to see, I live in England with Albanian parents with my father situated in Tirana. When I was much younger (though im only 16) every time i visited Albania I would take this exact cable car to Dajti with my father and grandmother and ride the Donkeys and shoot rifles up there for fun. Those were truly some of my favourite times of younger childhood.
Interview random people on the street asking them about "besa" . It's about keeping your word/promise. I wonder if the younger generation still adheres to it.
oooh...beautiful view from the cable car, revolving restaurant, drone shot, accompanied with lovely music to go with it. Never played golf, looks very fun! Another nice video. Keep it up and have an enjoyable hiking. ❤️💖🇲🇾
Since you're already in the Balkans - you guys can easily visit some of the other interesting countries nearby. I'm curious about Bosnia, Kosovo, Montenegro and Macedonia since not many people go there. Thanks for letting us go on virtual vacations with you! Love your videos! 🙌
Wonderful to see you both having an amazing time in Albania with beautiful landscape and the view is spectacularly beautiful. Good content as always...fun to watch from beginning till the end. Good job, guys. 💞❤️ from Malaysia.
I don't think I have heard of anyone complaining of cable car ride before ...... The views are usual spectacular, The ride are always fulls of ups and down, and at the end of the trip, you'll end up at a place that has many things to do, and goodies to eat... LOL .... Bunker hole in a gold course, now who would have thought of that? Stay safe, happy exploring.
Steve with his spectacular Pakistan cricket shirt is a Pakistani at heart ! You can tell he misses Pakistan !! Hope to see more of your vlogs from there !!!
Hi Ivana and Steve 👋 really beautiful view from the cable car 👍🏻 well the longest and highest cable car I’ve been on was in Hong Kong really high that I could feel the cold air and the clouds at my side 😅 😂 the revolving restaurant reminded me of the one in Federal Hotel , KL same concept. Hope you both had a great time today 🥰😊
@@JetLagWarriors yes bit expensive converted to RM but it was long time since I went there , I'm sure they have upgraded the place and not sure of the price now , the cable car was in The Ocean Park very huge amusement park 👍
Albania has lots of snow starting from late Autumn, Winter and Spring. I believe you meant Tirana doesn't have much snow, as it is surrounded by mountains. So even when it snows, the snow doesn't stick for long there. But generally speaking, it snows a lot in Albania, as the country is a 70-75% mountainous region.
I have a slight fear of heights and when I get to high places I kind of get woozy ... believe it or not I got the same feeling when I was watching you look around outside of the cable car lol
@@JetLagWarriors There are a lot more beautiful places and I'll definitely recommend some of them. 1.Kalaje e Presteles/Castle of Prestela 2.illuminatum,which is also a castle surrounded with restaurants and greenery 3.Qafsha e molles I recommend visiting The castle of Prestela first, since it's closer to Tirana and then by order the other destinations I mentioned. You won't regret visiting these places and if you do visit them, there's tons more I call tell you,but for now I recommend these 3 destinations.Hope you both have a great time! 🍀🍀🇦🇱🇦🇱💚🦅⚡
Hey steve i am Canadian but my background is Pakistani and just wanna thank you and Ivana for going to Pakistan showing its beauty, at the same time love your videos on Albania another country filled with beauty :) Lastly mad respect for wearing and repping the Pakistan Jersey
Am trying to decide where to go this summer so I can escape from the UAE heat. I can't go home to the UK again so I need an escape. Might just be Albania!
@@JetLagWarriors You can go by car (taxi) or take the minibus that takes you to the village of Shëngjergj (much cheaper than taxi). There's Ujëvara Restaurant there (Ujëvara means Waterfall in Albanian). From the restaurant you have to walk for 15 minutes to the waterfall. Many people go there on weekends.
In Pakistan, we need similar cable car system to link Murree with Islamabad/Rawalpindi. This would be environment friendly reducing vehicular traffic. Imagine a car park at the foothills and taking the tourist to the hill station. Murree having its own modern urban bus transport system for the masses.
