The Panhandle, our northern and all too often forgotten region, but "what's up there anyway?" you might say, besides cows, and dirt of course. Well not much I guess, unless you like things like; delicious food, hidden canyons, and history as big as Texas, all of which this town boasts in spades. Borger

Woah I’m a 20 year old born and raised in Borger and I’ll confess I don’t have much pride about it… but something about this just made me smile I know that’s home. Thank you so much for coming out I always thought we were birthing more than a bunch of plants

You should do Dalhart during the first week of August for the XIT Rodeo and reunion. They have the "worlds largest bbq feed" along with other free feeds, like watermelon and pork chops and a parade and a rodeo, complete with a rodeo queen contest. They even have dances every night after the rodeo. Its a really fun time and it celebrates the XIT ranch that was approximately 3,000,000 acres from 1885-1912.

If anyone thinks a rifle from 150 or so yrs ago could hit a mile away…they’re gullible!
@DABrock-author
@DABrock-author 26 дней назад
Wrong. It’s been tested multiple times. The Sharps rifles were (and are) capable of hitting man-sized targets at that range, in the hands of someone who knows what they’re doing. The biggest issue is reading the wind. IIRC Dixon himself said he was holding “three Indians high and two into the wind”. He also acknowledged that it was a very lucky shot.

So that would be the famous Oklahoma Onion Burger!! Just saying
@user-sm2ql7nq4l

The onion burger was invented in the 1920s in Oklahoma City and George Motz popularized it. She acts talks like she invented it.

I disagree. She's just been doing it longer than it's been trendy. Smash burgers are all the rage now.

Did you not understand 1920's Read before you comment. Onion burger is probably the first smash burger
