While in Yuma this winter, we took a couple of day trips over the border into Los Algodones, Mexico.
This small tourist town is full of Mexican Wares, pharmacies, liquor stores and taco stands. But what they are known for that brings 1000s of snowbirds and others into town each winter is their affordable dental care. With over 300 dentists in this 5ish mile town, there is no wonder this town is nicknamed Molar City.
Over 1 million people cross this pedestrian border annually.
We enjoyed our time in Los Algodones for authentic tacos, baked goods and haggling.
