day trip to OXFORD, England | study abroad series

A fun (12-hour) day trip to the University of Oxford from London. My friend and I bought bus tickets to take us to and from Oxford which was only a 2 hour drive each way! (I recommend looking into trains too if you're traveling from London) I made an itinerary and hit some iconic spots around the University including the Ashmolean Museum, Balliol College, Divinity School, Bridge of Sighs, Turf Tavern (famous pub), Radcliffe Camera, Christ Church College, Christ Church Meadow, The boathouses, The Grand Cafe, Museum of Natural History, Pitt Rivers Museum, etc.

It's so good to see you getting out of London. Sadly, very few of our visitors and temporary residents do, seemingly thinking that England is London. It most definitely is not, there is so much more to see. The Ash (Ashmolean Museum) is amazing, isn't it? Like the British Museum, you could walk around all day for a week and still not see it all. Never let bad weather stop you travelling or you'll never go anywhere!..............................................the ancient Englishman.

Lovely video with energetic vibes..makes me want to go back to Oxford and agree with the other comment that the Ashmolean museum is definitely worth a visit. Just a little correction that the boat race e.g. Oxford v Cambridge actually takes place on the Tideway in London, from Putney embankment. The next race is 3rd April so maybe worth catching.

Did you visit the Covered Market, it's been there for well over 400 years and looks like it, the architecture is still untouched from when it was built
