Te ha dado nostalgia, llévate a tu señora contigo en la moto, se disfruta más. Y cuando quieras ven a España que hay buenas rutas y mucho sol para subir el ánimo.
Hi Tom, I've found your channel. I bought a Versys back in 2008, spent a decade on a Tenere 660, and just returned to a 2021 registered Versys. I'll keep an eye on your channel. Happy riding.
Hi Daniel ! Lovely to hear ! Yeah I debated a tenere , the new model ! But went with the versys, having more fun on my zx lately, in a quandary weather to keep the versys or not ! Thanks for subscribing! More content to come !
I get your concern( what am I doing here!) …. .I’m recently back to motorcycling after a 35 year break! I’m loving going locally but it was always my intention to ride to Portsmouth/ Santander and then on to Southern Spain. Problem is I’m constantly talking myself out of doing it. However,if your Mrs gives you the go ahead….without any guilt tripping,we’ll,you’re halfway there!
Just watched this having my morning coffee and loved it. We are all a bit miserable sometimes but thanks for sharing. I ride a 2018 versys650 and it is a great all round bike, keep getting out there!
Hi Neil ! Thanks for the kind comment !! Yeah I think we’re all capable of a down dip! Thankfully got my mojo back and some more trips planned ! I’m in the realms of changing bikes but I’m still undecided ! I get on the versys and just say.. “why bother” there great! Stay safe
Just booked my solo trip away in the tent in Llandovery, Carmarthenshire for the end of may on my versys been to wales a few time solo one trip is not enough and it's not that far from sheffield not sure who is more excited that i am going me or the wife hahahaha :) anyway i won't be doing much other than a few cans of beer in the evening and aimlessly riding about to the coast or beacons find a cafe maybe have a coffee and a vape move on ....you know the score mate
Great video, I really enjoyed it. Spectacular views, good filming and I loved your commentary. I know exactly how you felt, I've been there when I went on a camping tour on my push bike. As soon as I got there I wanted to get home, and couldn't really work out why, but it was about things I miss, and not having anyone to share the experience with and talk to. I got a truly diabolical weather forecast with gale force head winds for the following 3 weeks, so had a sound reason to bail out! Let me know if you ever want some company, I might be able to join you, depends on timing of course. Thanks again for the video, loved it.
Thanks for the comment mate !! Means a lot ! Yeah I can’t really put my finger on it, probably a mixture of everything, always easier going with someone I guess so that’s probably the main one! Yeah for sure , always happy to meet and catch up with new riders !! If you’re on insta go check out my page and keep in touch on there ✌🏼
"I've done this route so I'm not a d*ckhead" 😂😂 Glad you enjoyed it mate, and definitely agree with you with how daunting some trips away can be alone. Easy to get in your own head! Let me know when you head back and I'll head over and meet you!
Interesting to read your tale on riding. I find I’m halfway where I plan on going and then get bored and want be to home. I prefer to ride alone, I think riding in groups is dangerous and you may have to ride outside of your comfort zone to keep up as there’s always one who wants to go hell for leather. I live in Wales so it’s easy to get on these quiet roads. Basically I’m a miserable git and prefer to be alone. The Versys is a great bike for these bimbles even though it seems to get a lot of negative press. Had a biking break for 5/6 years but decided to sell my car and get another Versys. My missus has a much better car I can use and the bike will be for local trips around running errands and occasional longer trips. Would love to get to Europe finances depending. My new 2014 model is being delivered tomorrow and have a whole list of things to do and extras to add on. I fully emphasise with your mental attitude, have no advice but can relate completely. Take it as it comes and try to enjoy the rides. Bit of a ramble I know but what you said rings true with me. Good luck.
Hi mate , yeah it’s odd I’ve always ridden alone, just recently it’s not been the same ! Sure it’ll blow over ! Ah great stuff, the versys is a great bike, very underrated in my opinion, Europe’s on he cards for me this year too! As long as I can sort work out ! Enjoy and stay safe !
Howdy! New subscriber, really enjoying your lighthearted and informative channel. Quick question if you wouldn't mind: Can you tell me who makes your clip-on windscreen and where you got it?
Hey !! Appreciate the subscribe! Thanks !! So I got it off eBay , was purely a temporary add on which I just haven’t bothered to change it’s been great! I think it was £16, I purely typed in windshield adaptor ! Hope this helps!
If you think that's good try the road from beulah to Tregaron that will blow your mind 18 miles of heaven. When you get to Tregaron turn around head back to the isolated phone box turn right and you will go down the side of llyn brianne reservoir......its stunning and you finish at Llandovery.......you won't beat that!
That is a very nice video. One thing. What you said at the beginning made me think. Sometimes in biking it can be a very lonely hobby. More so for me I think. As a extremley (poor spelling) quiet person I never stop and meet or join in with groups. Mostly the brief episode passes and something happens and the journey can become fun again. But then again some of the best road movie caraghters (!!) seem to always have the occasional shitty time along the way. Swings and roundabouts I guess)))
@@Murraymoto I get like this sometimes. It’s because the hype wasn’t what you was expecting. The weather needs to be right and you deffo need to do trip with a friend or three to take ya mind off all the other things in life.
@@Murraymoto Hello again Mr.Timmo. A question. You mentioned you bought an Arrow exhaust. Well I just bought a very cheap Ali Express exhaust system for some safety noise. I notice now it reads 2017 to 2020. My bike is 2021 import from Poland. Might I have made a big mistake to your knowledge? Please. Jimmy.
Mate I have found that the mood is directly related to the food you've consumed prior-especially if too many carbs! I would also suggest some vitamin B1 bc people that drink tons of coffee (me) or lots of sugary soda pops have a deficiency in B1. When I made the adj's it made a collossal world of difference. Good luck sir!
“I’m just going to ride how I’m going to ride.” Nothing wrong with that at all. There’s a reason why they say stop and smell the roses. Isn’t that the reason why we ride? To enjoy being out there and taking it all in. See you again. Thanks.
