Everything was made from Scratch in SoCal for decades..So, I love authentic Mexican food and make it regularly. My dad's father was from Spain and migrated to Mexico City then later onto SoCal. My dad's mom and grandparents are from the Piedmonte Region of Italy. They migrated from Italy to Mexico City and then later onto SoCal. My Italian Grandfather was a chef. My family also owned an Authentic Italian restaurant in SoCal called Gino's, for a number of years, too. Needless to say, I also make Authentic Italian food regularly as well. My mother was Swedish decent. 🤗

The centro storico of Amantea looks lovely! I can understand why you stopped for granita and drinkies there!
