Always a good day, when Wade Simmons makes it out for a ride.
We set out to shoot part of Wade's "Pick-a-part" series, with ‪@RaceFaceMTBtv‬
I wanted to capture the fun we always have, when we are out riding some of our regular loops.
We don't get to ride together as much as we would like but we always make the most of it, when we find those days.

What a horrifying situation! I had 3 pitties attack my dog and I can tell you - on behalf of their owner AND myself - there is no time to think. Thankfully, somehow, everyone but their owner was alright. He got bit getting in the middle of things. My heartrate still goes up just thinking about it.

@@GeoffGulevich those lines looked terrifying, it's amazing we can ride terrain it would be impossible to walk on. What is going on with your GoPro lens? It looked a bit trippy at the breaks in riding. Legends. Thanks guys.

@@ianmarr2557 it’s the GoPro MAX 360 lens. Just has some distortion at times when the angle and distance is weird. Could take more time to make sure it doesn’t happen but I’m more focused on the biking part hahaha

isn't the Occam more of a all round trail bike compared to the crushers your crew is riding? you must be extra skilled or extra hard to manage those trails on that bike!

I've seen a lot of videos of that trail, this by far has been one of my favorite videos, the view is on point, it really shows the skill not only of the rider with the camera, but also the person in the lead. Super impressive!

so being a free rider, do yall sacrifice a bit of compliance and run your suspension on the firmer side for support on hucks and big compressions?

@@GeoffGulevich i actually thought you might. being on the occam, short travel bike compared to the others you ride with.. so just factory recommended settings and volume spacers to help prevent bottom outs?

@@emmanuelguevarra6823 I generally run a little stiffer than most people. So, yes, a little more air and volume spacers but that’s always just been my style of riding

@@GeoffGulevich personal preference it is. I have been playing around with my front suspension setup. Been looking for the in between balance of support and compliance. Thanks for responding, input from a legend is always prime!
