YES! I have noticed the same thing! Especially when he switches from English to Korean in the same conversation. His English is definitely more California boy while his Korean is rounder and deeper 😊

Omg it's like me because my native language is english and I have a pretty deep voice especially for a female but when I speak korean japanese or mandarin my voice gets slightly higher and it feels unnatural if I speak in a low voice

essennagerry it really is never to late! It’s gonna be tough and your fingers are gonna hurt xD at the beginning but it’s all practice and perseverance! Good luck! (I’ve been only playing guitar for 2 years but it’s been great learning)

I too got obsessed with guitar when i was 16 or 17, So, when i got guitar as a gift, i started playing it. But i didn't know that it has to be tuned. Really i didn't know anything. Thought i was just bad and got detached. By the time i learned this, i found my guitar was gone. Then i bought another, to find that it wasn't the right one for me, but still i managed to learn the basics, chords, strumming all the while hurting my fingers. Finally As my 21st birthday gift, i asked for another guitar, and it is the right one for me. The problems that i faced with those two guitars, all helped me to learn more. You can learn too.

I feel this so hard...I tried learning guitar once when I was like 15, found it too difficult to form chords with my fingers (it just felt awkward!!) and gave up. I also loved to sing since I was little, but gave up cause I knew a lot of other people who I thought were amazing singers and didn't think I could get to that level cause they seemed naturally talented. And now at 21 I'm finally telling myself I WILL learn guitar and practice singing. Seeing everyone at JYP who had these dreams and worked hard and didn't give up made me remember my own dreams... there's still times I think "I'm too old now" cause so many good artists started really young and practiced for years, but it's really encouraging seeing other people my age who've had a similar experience!! Hwaiting!!

It’s going to be a hard path but don’t give up! When you’ll play your first piece you’ll be really proud :D Also start with small things in beginners books so you don’t get discouraged I really hope you can do this!!!

I'm similar except I'm currently 16 but I grew up on classical instruments. I really want to go to music school but I'm supposed to graduate high school in 2020 and can't figure anything out. It's a bit funny. I used to be jealous and slightly annoyed with people who were talented in something but weren't interested in their talent but I'm kind of doing the same thing. Clarinet is my best instrument but it's not what I love the most. I actually miss playing it since I haven't played in a couple years but I'm starting to like instruments that don't require my breath like guitar and piano much more than the classical wind instruments I grew up on. I've been practicing electric guitar recently and guitar and piano are what i want to specialize in. I hope to get into music school on either of them but sometimes I wonder if I underestimate the skill level required and wonder if I can reach that skill level in a little under two years
