Sungjin: “There’s nothing I can do for you” I often wonder how Sungjin felt considering he was their leader. To be unable to do anything just to see one of his members leaving after everything they’ve been through.

It's hard for Sungjin as a leader to witness one of his members leave the band, but it must have been just as hard for Wonpil to accept the fact that he has to take the role of Junhyeok as a pianist. Thus, signifying the empty keyboards and him standing alone with his synthesizer. This pains me so much.

Letting Go is a timeless masterpiece. You Were Beautiful is a worldwide legend, but Letting Go is like the symbol of Day6's 'new beginning'. The melody, vocals, composition are what made this song as Day6's timeless masterpiece.

The empty piano is originally Junhyeok's spot. It hurts me so much after I found out the real meaning behind this song and MV, and now I feel like crying everytime I hear this song. I regretted so much that I started stanning Day6 too late after Junhyeok had left day6. To Junhyeok : I hope you're doing fine out there, even I had never have a chance to get to know you better when you're still a Day6 member, just so you know, I'll always be supporting you. I hope you will be successful in your life and music, and will get as popular as Day6 one day. You really deserve it. Always be happy and healthy, dear Junhyeok.

Sungjin sings this with such heart, passion and rawness. As much as I love the other members, Sungjin carries the song for me especially in the bridge. One of my favourite songs by them because of his lines in this.

At first I thought this was a break up song but not quite, I felt it had deeper meaning.. Now I get it. Whenever it shows one of the members it shows a copy of them as well.. It's a song to their past selves and it's about letting go of regrets as well as who they used to be; so they can be happy. Of course I think it's also still about leaving people of the past behind you. That's how I'm interpreting it anyways.

december 2021. i come here again because i miss them so, so much. 9 months after sungjin left for enlistment, 2 months for youngk, 4 months since even of day's beyond live concert, and almost 2 years since day6 performed as a whole. these years have been hard, and it might be harder for a few years to come because we won't see them five together until they're all finished their duty. i hope happy days will come soon, when we'll be able to see them up on stage together again, and us singing along with them in a concert.

for old mydays who knows the one who used to be the pianist in the band, this will always be the goodbye song for him. For him to finally be happy with choices he made. He made us happy even for a short period of time, we appreciate his talents, the time and effort he made for the group and for the fans. We still miss you though, be happy now.

this is my first time listening to day6 and since the first second i was so impressed, they're extremely talented; and the lyrics! i teared up seriously, actual tears. their voices give me so many chills and make my chest feel warm, they deserve to be known. definitely joining this fandom !!
