DAY6 - You Were Beautiful | Reaction 

You guys should react to Day6’s debut song “Congratulations”. It came out before “You Were Beautiful” and the story is told from the male actor’s perspective. The band debuted in 2015 and originally had 6 members, however one member left in 2016 and another left in 2021. They write and produce their own music. My personal favorites are “I Need Somebody”, “Sweet Chaos”, and “I Wait”.

As a side note, the male lead in the music video is actor Choi Woo-sik. He was also in the movie Parasite. He is best friend with V in the BTS. ^^

My fav Day6 song is Zombie. There are 2 versions, Korean and english.

OH MY GOD I WAS WAITING FOR THISSSSSSSSSS day6 are so so so good!!!!!! some basic info about them: they're a korean band and they write all their music themselves, lyrics and everything, their music is completely their own! they have 4 members as of now (young k bassist & vocals, wonpil keyboard/synth & vocals, sungjin guitar & vocals, dowoon drums (and occasionally vocals too)), but there used to be 6, jae (vocals & guitar) terminated his contract with the company in 2022 and junhyeok (synth & vocals) left around 2016. each of the members also makes their own music as soloists and there's a subunit called even of day within the group! they debuted back in 2015 with the song congratulations under jyp entertainment they had a very cool project back in 2017 where they released 2 songs each 6th of the month throughout the year, you should definitely check it out!!! honestly all their songs are really good like they just don't miss so there's a high possibility you'll like any of their songs u randomly press on lol but my personal favorites are shoot me, i wait (this song was the first one to be released as a part of that project btw), sing me, i would, i need somebody (HITS YOU RIGHT IN THE FEEEEELSSSS), 121u, wanna go back, the entire enthropy album......, zombie, above the clouds, wanna go back, colors and many many more but ill just end up typing out their entire discography so ill stop here.... they do a bunch of different genres so there's a lot of variety in their music but with everything they do there's always this distinct sound that just Screams day6!!! also their live performances are out of this worlds.... i had the opportunity to go to one of their concerts and when i tell u they sound absolutely angelic and their energy is just Insane it was one of the most fun nights ive experienced... u should check out their live performances too!! they're also just really lovely people and have such a fun bond with each other and relationship with the fans, i really hope you react to more of their music, i think you might enjoy their musicality!! they deserve more recognition and appreciation

Welcome to day6 and their beautiful music! They're a band, they all sing, and they write their own songs.

Day6 is worth getting to know. Their music has a special space in my heart. Day6 finished their military service and got back into group activities last October. I think now is the perfect time to dive into their music catalog. Their popularity in Korea has been on the rise since last year! I can't wait for Day6's new content!

My absolute favourite song of theirs is „I need somebody“ but they have soo many good songs. I hope you’ll listen to more of their stuff it’s worth it.

"I Wait" from Day6 was the song that made me their fan. If you want more K Bands also recommend Onewe "Aurora" The guy you said was cute in the beginning now hoes by eaj check out his song Packman. His vocal range will impress you.

Oh my godddd 😳 this lady- Septa, is actually a genius!! lol your interpretations were so on point!!! The message was just that; the relationship was beautiful, he was beautiful and she was the most beautiful version of herself when she was with him. I really love that first line that says “I’m not saying all of this right now to suggest we get back together…” - there’s really no motive here beyond acknowledging that how things ended wasn’t his fault and that she really appreciates all he did for her. Their debut MV a couple of years before this one gives a lot more context about this couple. The girl asked to take a break because she was dealing with a lot of stress and the guy agreed but then she stopped answering his calls and next thing he bumps into her and her new bf on the subway 😂 it’s called Congratulations and is such a hilariously relatable and somewhat petty song. Totally different vibe from this one, please check it out!! This is one of Day6’s rare songs where the lyrics and tone match bc they love to subvert expectations by putting a happy and upbeat melody over heartbreakingly sad lyrics or vice versa. They are very thoughtful songwriters and musicians who deserve so so so much more, but it’s tough to be a band in the choreo performance-obsessed kpop industry 😢 They’ve had a very strong cult following for years now and most kpop idols themselves are big Day6 fans. But thankfully they are starting to get some of the props and popularity they deserve now and it’s perfect timing as they are now done with military service and ready to drop new music. Please explore more Day6!!! I promise you’ll fall DEEPLY in love. In 2017 they had the Every Day6 Project where they released two songs a month. The bass player, Young K is the members most responsible for writing their music. I love the song Zombie, I Need Somebody (no real MV), I Wait, and Afraid (no MV)

I love Day6 and this song. Unfortunately, Jae Park, the cute blond, is no longer with the group. Young K, Wonpil and Sungjin are the other vocalists, and Dowoon is the drummer. They have so many good songs including Congratulations, Man in a Movie, Dance Dance, Smile, I Wait, I'm Serious, and so, so many more. I think y'all will really like them.
