what makes this song special is that it is everyone's story. the struggles, the daily grind, the fake hello, the dead spirit inside us. at one point in our lives, we become a zombie, living for the sake of it. but being a zombie isn't the end. at one point, we become hopeful again, we want to live and feel alive. as the members experience mental struggle, this song even speaks louder. although they are regarded as the band with no bad songs, they still become a zombie with empty hearts and empty minds. but i hope they feel alive again, not for us but for them--for the person that was lost, for the person they miss the most. aside from the emotional lyrics, the instrumental is phenomenal! it's not the typical DAY6 where transitions are dramatic and vocals are dynamic. instead, this song sits on their lower to mid registers. but not to mistake, the chord progression is still as complicated as fck. and the mixing and transitions of the song is on another level like really complicated; they are subtle yet difficult to pull off. so to end this essay, let's all support our superband to the end. i know we won't get any promotions for this comeback but please support them in our little ways. fighting DAY6. hope u get well, mydays are just here waiting. no rush.

As someone who's diagnosed with clinical depression for almost 7 years, I wouldn't wish that kind of thing to my worst enemy, let alone a band that I admire and respect. Thank you for the music Day6. Your songs have consoled me throughout the years. Take all the time you need to bounce back. Healing is a process.

The fact that both the English and Korean lyrics are sooo impactful, shows how talented as an artist they are. I think even in 2022 till date the English version of zombie is the best English song I have heard from any k group (k-pop group) because this was the first time was got hooked to the lyrics first then the melody (they are sooo well written). Just love it.

I once saw a post on Tumblr that said, "How are you not terrified of the passing of time?" At first, I shrugged it off and denied it. But eventually, I realized that I want to be honest with myself and admit that I actually am afraid with every day passing by so quickly. This is so relatable, I love how they use Zombie as an imagery of our boring everyday life. We all are went through some good days and bad days, but most of the time it's a daily boring routine that we are living in. And it's okay to feel empty and just cry it out loud, we are just human after all. Once again Day6 speak my mind and turned it into a beautiful masterpiece, thank you.

I love the message and everything, but can we just talk about their first day sales from their albums? “The Day” only got 23, “Entropy” only got 8,585, “The Demon” got 30,174. And to mention, they’re the first boy group (band) of JYP to hit at top 5 in melon since 2PM (group) I’m really happy for my boys, but sadly they can’t promote. This song is talking about the times in your lives when you feel like your just living without a purpose, that you're just living for the sake of it, as if your life isn't special, as if your life isn't meaningful and why this song seems to be so relatable is because I'm sure every single person has thought these thoughts at LEAST once in their lifetime. DAY6 have always put 'connecting with fans' first and you can TRULY TRULY feel that with this song, that they're trying to create music that fans can connect and relate to and then comfort them. As I said, I'm sure every person feels lost at least once in their lives and that's okay, that's what DAY6 as a group, with their music is telling us. So I hope that DAY6 understand this too, it's alright to feel lost but what is important is that you learn through that, take your time and come back when your happy and healthy.

This was THE FIRST day6 song I heard. And I heard it from Seungmin's lips. From that point on I became a fan of Day6, obsessively listening to their songs, it was also when rumours first came out that Jae was going to leave. I joined the fandom late, but I'm happy that I somehow joined.

THIS IS WHY WE STAN DAY6. Not only their music is great to the ears even if u don’t read lyrics translation, the meaning of their song always hits hard. I especially like how the song ended in a soft, heartbreaking kind of slowness with a sad mellow sound. The members also seem to sing apathetically (hence, being a zombie), but the heartache can only be heard if you listen to the song closely. This just goes to show how this ‘becoming a zombie’ is a slow and lonely torture, a kind of pain that makes you want to drown in your own tears. “I live counting the time til I close my eyes.” How long can that possibly take? It’s something a lot of us experience- the only thing we can do is live through it until we finally reach the end of that counting. Just staying alive and withstanding tomorrow, even if it makes no difference, is another kind of courage. THANK YOU FOR THIS MUSIC, DAY6!!! And for letting us know that we are not alone in this.

if you're hurting right now, i hope your pain eases soon. living is tough. some days it's hard to even imagine waking up the next day. and as cliche as it sounds, it gets better. in fact, i used to think it would never get better. that was, what, december 2018? and things started getting better as soon as i felt capable to get out of bed every morning. that was march 8, 2019. if i went back in time to then and told my past self how much life is worth living nowadays, i wouldn't believe it. promise me, it gets better. promise me you'll try to stay here long enough to see your world start moving again. it's so damn hard, but i believe in you. we all do.

i love how people interpreted this song as a song that talks about their mental state instead of a love song which is what it seemed to be marketed as before. i came back to read the english translations after listening to the english version because i know young k said that they didn't directly translate the korean lyrics but still wanted to keep the same mood and meaning and they did a fantastic job. even though day6 won't be promoting this on music shows i know this song will have a long-lasting impact in the long run and i want to thank them for releasing something so vulnerable.

I'M CRYING. SOO RELATE WITH MY LIFE. This is me before working from home. Every day leave in the morning, go home until 12pm-1am . Always crying in the beginning, until at the point that i am tired of crying. Time is running out on trips and in the office, there is no time for me to relax and rest. Now it's almost 3 months working from home, i must stay 24/7 to maintenance client. Life is really hard, but i need to work cz i need money for life :') Day6 describes the workers very well. Going back here after Seungmin and Chan's stage. Wow. I miss DAY6 OT5 so much :(

This song is a literal representation of what depression truly feels like. The instrumental is very repetitive and simple. This represents the endless cycle we as individuals go through every day. The instrumental is simple because it represents how depression stops you from having fun, you start to loose interest in everything. I also noticed how each chorus is sung slightly differently to represent a certain emotion. For example when Youngk sings the first chorus he sounds hopeful. In the music video the actor has woken up. Maybe he feels that his life can regain meaning again. Then we go to Sungjin for the second chorus. He sounds angry even a little frustrated. He sings with more aggression. The actor is shown working at his job. He can’t take this endless cycle anymore. Wompil’s chorus is similar to Sungin’s however he sounds more sad. You can even see his facial expressions in the M/V, he looks hopeless. The actor walks past a bridge Contemplating whether to jump off or not. The instrumental quiets down and Jae sings the last chorus. He sings like he has given up. His voice is quiet and his has a look of defeat. The actor falls down in his bed accepting that this is his life, an endless cycle of misery.

This is such a sad time for us all. This is a serious matter, and a great opportunity for us MyDay not only to support Day6 harder than ever, but to give us the opportunity to reflect and recharge ourselves as well. In today’s radio broadcast they even said they are doing this so that we can be together for a very long time because no matter what we will always be together FOREVER. i noticed that the actor who played zombie is moving slow but everything around him is moving so fast in life we think that why everybody is growing and becoming so successful in life but us is like moving slow and theres no changes we think why we're the only ones who's suffering in life while others is getting what they want, this is so relatable damn.

I asked my friend to take a glimpse of this song. He wasn't a fan of a non-pop songs. So when he agreed, I told him to pay attention to the MV and turn the English captions..... After a while, I asked him "How's it?", "Did you get the song's message?", then I was surprised to see that he started giving me lengthy replies. I guess he was crying while texting his reply. When I asked "is Day6 good?" he said "Ofcourse!".Then I advised him to watch their other Mv's...and he did! Well I guess I turned him into a myday. Somehow, it melted my heart because Day6 is finally having the recognition they deserve.

When I see all this comments about emptiness, depression and loneliness I feel worried. I'm worried about you mydays. I know how it feels... This year I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, after years of believing that I had a mayor depression but no those apparently were episodes of this other disorder, and I don't know how to take that. Well, I never knew how to take anything so I've been living like a zombie just like you guys. So I just imagine all of you at home, trying to "live a life, this meaningless life" but I just can't. It feels unfair, all the endless suffering. Because I know that we try our best breath even when we don't want to. And I know that we all have done something wrong in our lives, but I also know that no one deserves this shirt. So to all mydays, in behalf of this life I want to say I'm sorry, you don't deserved this pain.

When I first heard this song and read the lyrics, it threw me back to the worst time of my life. I used to say, "I once lived in a limbo; not wanting to live but not wanting to die either". I lived in the same routine, feeling numb and empty. For years. Zombie makes my heart ache in remembrance, but also.. Relieved that I'm not alone for feeling like one. I hope this song will be a comfort to people who, well, have become a zombie. You're not alone, and you can go through this! Please don't give up yet!

I will always miss the happiness and the innocence of “Gravity”, how versatile and experimental “Entropy” is, and will always love the darkness and the catchiness of “The Demon”. Each album gives me different vibes yall. Gravity made me feel bright and youthful, Entropy literally is like a roller coaster of emotions and this album is fresh and it is the concept I’m living for (love the message in Zombie and demon prolly will be becoming my fave album atm) Btw my fave song in the album is “Day and Night” it’s too good yall, and i can’t choose a second favourite since all of them are toooo goooood.

guys. they won a MAMA award for this song and not once did they ever perform a comeback stage, they never promoted it on any music shows, and they've never even performed it live. can we just appreciate that? day6 is true talent and im so happy they got the recognition they deserved for this song. love u day6. u make myday

Of course I am not crying. Getting out of jokes, after listening the last Naver now show, and all the things the guys said just make me so emotional, they've made a lot and even the situation they're going through they try to not worries us. I don't have any word to describe how proud I am of this guys. So please, mydays let's wait for them and make them proud streaming this album.
