love the david brown , its great , PLEASE crank the pump up on the 1455 , you can always turn it back , but its gotta be worth a go , love the start of the vids , its a good way to see what treats are in store . lovely jubbly and isnt little Chester awesome

Intros ok with me Olly. Chester will get there with his training. Farmer near to me has a Case and you can hear it before you see it that whistle. Not seen a David Brown for sometime
I remember vividly sitting as a kid sitting on that toolbox on the back of a DB 1490 2wd whilst my godfather was ploughing then loving driving it myself when I was a bit older. Great tractor - hope you get a good deal.

I like the intro, they used to do the same thing on Thunderbirds! The 1690T looks like it needs a bit of TLC but there is nothing like some great childhood memories to make that happen. I'd love to get hold of a 996 low profile cab tractor for the same reason. I do still have my 1594 from 1985 that is never leaving my farm.
I drove a David brown at college back in 1980 with a forend loader nice bit of kit. Would fit in nicely to the line out mate. Great vid nice to hear the reds working up the hill. Knights are just up the road in South Luffenham started early 80s so 86 maybe

The intro is a great idea and has changed the videos up for the next year. Get the David brown bought as it’s a great childhood memory. Is it Chester who needs training or his owners lol. I would say keep the 1455 standard
I'm not a fan of the intro but I understand have to try out different things to see what works and what doesn't to he'll grow the subs. 30k is a serious achievement. Regardless of intros or no intros I'll still be tuning in every night! I know nothing about those sprayers and haven't looked it up but I'll guess around 2003. I think you should look to add a DB of some version that ye ran to the collection, as it is part of the farms heritage. Apart from the bonnet it looked right enough

Nothing wrong with the intro’s, but all your videos are worthwhile watching every single bit of them. Great soundtrack again today of the classic Case tractors. Looks like the David Brown could be an easy restoration - very worthwhile and sounded awesome. Another addition to the fleet?
Great video, the DB looks a nice peace of kit, like you mentioned it would need painting but the panels look straight. I will guess the Knight sprayer around 2012. Mental how these big companies get bailed out by the government and still pay bonuses or dividends.
Olly, I think you need a Dyno day. Then you would know what everything is pushing out and if anything need ‘tuning’ a little? ? Maybe your next open day? Love the intro’s

We bought a 5140 putting out nearly 180 hp on the dyno ,I wouldn’t recommend it for the transmission sakes,but hell it pulled 😂 We turned it down to 155hp and never had an issue with clutch packs etc 👍
Love the David Brown - brings back lots of memories although ours was nothing as fancy as a 1690. We had a 2WD 995 (with the quiet cab) from the mid 70s.
I’m guessing 2009 for the knight sprayer…the shepherd at farm college had 1290 2wd always liked those cabs remember leyland/Marshall having them as well…
Not too keen on the intro but will watch regardless!!! I would guess that the sprayer is about 1998. My other half thinks it's 2012. Loving the DB - should definitely buy that one!!

The intro’s are good, let’s us see what’s coming up.. Defo tweak the pump,on the 1455, maybe a straight pipe to out noise the 4955.. As for the DB 1690, besides some rusty tin work it looks a good tractor, be good in the collection As for the Knight sprayer, is it mid 90’s 🤔
Recently had the pleasure of driving a 956xl I know it’s not a 1455 but the farmer told me that when he bought the 956 brand new the dealer wound the pump up for him to give it more grunt but it did pump out black smoke which wouldn’t keep Greta happy

I can remember you having that type of DB on your farm Olly, very modern at the time and plenty of pulling power. Did you manage to do a deal for it ?? Would look good in the shed after a refurb. Isnt it funny how Chester will obey strangers but turn a blind eye to yours and Charlotte's requests 😁 I'd say the sprayer is from the late 80's. Cheers Olly
The dB would be a good addition to your collection , defo turn the pump up on the 1455- you can always turn it back down - would be good to do a 1455 standard hill climb verses hill climb with pump turned up 😃
I think you'd be better to get a few of them tractors Dyno tested to see what there actually putting out and adjust accordingly. I seen me adjusting the fuel delivery on old awkward injector pumps and checking on Dyno again and maybe only 7 to 10hp difference and you wouldn't believe the difference it makes. Also there's a point if you cross it your only smothering the engine and wasting diesel as she can't burn it.
You need to bring that David Brown home I have been ploughing with a non turbo 2wd 1690 lately love the sound. Will you try big red on the trailer hill climb?
1690 would have been a big tractor in its day and yes sitting on that tool box even as a kid was bloody uncomfortable 🤣🤣 paint looks rough but tractor looks in good nick, starts better than my 1490, is it 6 cylinder? Hope you are going to put your big tractors in the hill drag for comparison when you get chance. Personally not a fan of the intro but can see your reasoning behind it so yes keep them. Keep up the good work. Oh yes bet that sprayer is mid 90’s or older
