#9 [ㅈ] - 지읒 - Jieuj ~ And it's sound like [J] This is the 9th consonant in Korean alphabet. And you have to pronounce it with your tongue and your upper teeth. Here is some examples : 1. 자동차 = Jadongcha = Car 2. 지하철 = Jihacheol = Subway 3. 지도 = Jido = Map 4. 지각 = Jigag = Tardy/Late/ Jimin 5. 주말 = Jumal = Weekend BONUS 6. 진 = Jin = Jin 7. 제이 홉 = Jei Hob = J-hope 8. 지민 = Ji min = Jimin 9. 전 정국 = Jeon Jeong-gug = Jeon Jungkook I hope it will helpful for you and my eonno..!!

Okay, I've got an idea. I have a notebook where I ONLY write Korean in there so I can learn. Now I am going to watch all videos from day 1 to day 9 again and copy all of the things you say that are important about the consonants (eg. Strokes, Words, Name of the consonant, pronunciation) and I'm going to study them during the summer holidays, since I'll have nothing to do. Your videos are the only ones that I find useful so I gotta take this chance to watch them all and fill my notebook to learn. I love learning languages and I'm happy that K-Pop brought me to a language with very different letters etc which is something new to me and I love it. You literally make Korean fun and very easy to learn, 언니 I love being your student!😆 I have also subscribed to your channel!😊

For those who are being hard on themselves about this, listen : Practice makes progress, and practice makes permanent. just like anything that need practice ie sports, art, music, etc, you will not be perfect when you first start out. you need to practice and familiarize yourself with the subject, learn from professionals or people who are fluent, if you can't pronounce specific words or syllables listen to fluent people speaking, copy that. you wont get it immediately but keep going, keep listening and keep practicing because that's the only way you'll learn. just like how learning to walk takes multiple tries, soon it becomes muscle memory and you can walk with ease, it's the same with everything. once you learn how to speak in a different language and you keep practicing, that's something that you're going to get used to and something that you'll be able to do in your sleep! practicing never makes perfect it makes permanent. the more and more you practice the more it becomes muscle memory and that means you're going to be a lot closer to your goals. Stop being so hard on yourselves because you can't be "perfect". Know that no matter how hard you try, you just won't be perfect. But you will make progress. And that's what matters. Not being perfect. I've given up on learning Korean because it wasnt something I was so passionate about anymore, but even every now and then I see something written in Korean and try to translate it, try to say it out loud because that's something that I still havent forgotten. I practiced the alphabet so much that it became something permanent and that's something I'll know for a while. If youre passionate enough and if you're willing to put time to practice and learn as much as possible, speaking Korean is something that you can achieve. I'm not here to say that practice makes perfect because it doesn't and saying that would be a really unrealistic idea, what I'm saying is that if you practice and practice you're going to learn, you're going to be able to do whatever it is you want to do.
@Burymeinredlipstick01

So true. None of us were perfect in our first language in a week or even a year so a second or third isn't any different. We just have to keep going.

PLENTY of sound examples and variations!! Adding them is helpful!! That way of writing looks easier than it would be for the 'printed' ㅈ- looking version. Do some people still prefer ㅈ style over the one you've shown? 🤔 Next step is ㅊ! ㅈ and ㅊ tend to sound similar when they're in the beginning of words
@AmiAki
@AmiAki 5 лет назад
Pretty sure majority dont write it like the standard 'printed' font. Usually you just see printed hangul like ㅈ reserved for text e.g: messaging, textbooks etc.. but not much in handwriting. Although I know some who prefer writing Hangul in the printed way cuz it just looks neater like when ppl in English write in capitals. Also I found using that style of writing is a lot slower. So yeah its A LOT more easy and quicker doing it the cursive way ス like Unnie did.

@user-zh2cx9vv2s
@user-zh2cx9vv2s 5 лет назад
It's mainly for the sake of writing quickly and comfortably 😊 for example, the way you write Kyrillic letters in cursive looks nothing like the typed letters, or even how you write roman letters by hand can look different :) otherwise you'd spend ages writing one word carefully 😄
