Can was out of line and disrespectful to Sanem by yelling at her to go to her new job in the presence of their co-workers. Can respects Polen more than Sanem in my view, I think Can is in love Polen's affluent lifestyle and not the person in Polen. Love goes together with respect, I hope Can and Sanem can develop both for each other.

He is being a typical male. It's okay for him to behave like that but God forbid Sanem give him a dose of his own medicine

Think about it. He’s jealous of Sanem and gross Yigit being together. He’s also mad at himself for letting Sanem go. He can’t stand the thought of them working together, much less being together romantically. (Sanem would NEVER be with someone as gross as Yigit.)That’s why Can is always yelling at Sanem. She gives it right back to Can, ,if you notice.

I disagree, because I feel like he's trapping Leyla , in a way . Osman can see that she's into Emer ! ... But he knows she feels endebted to him . and it's borderline creepy that he always shows up to her job , saying he was in the neighborhood. I get that he has liked her since forever , but when you know the person you're into really isn't giving you the same energy .. don't obligate them , don't trap them . back all the way off

...Ps. Leyla is not innocent in this . Because she keeps going back and forth between Osman and Emer . I still feel like Osman knows because he keeps coming to her place of work , ( because he feels a way knowing Emer , is there ) Leyla did call Osman , but he took it from .. she's willing to date him , to being engaged ! Leyla just went along with it ..trying to get past Emer

🧡🧡.This is a very interesting exchange. The mother has done everything to keep her daughter from this relationship as Can is not of their class. She has created a home of violence against Sanem. Sanem is always saying "My mother...." She is so very afraid of her mother. Her mother is OUT OF HERE CHARACTER here. I went back to the previous scene at the dinner table and reviewed the exchange. What did the scriptwriters intend? We know that she wanted to marry her daughter to Muzo. Muzo calls her "mother in law" over and over and she NEVER corrects him. Her character's expectation seems to be that her daughter will marry Muzo and live in the neighborhood and run the grocery store so she and her husband can retire. So as far as character development - do you like characters that act out against type - as here? Or characters that stay true to character - like Huma ? If TRUST is a sub-theme of this series - which character would you trust ? Sanem has refused to grow up. She has left the firm - which he holds dear - does not pursue Can in any way meaningful (the yellow dress did not do it - made her look like a fool). While Polen is on point - she knows how to play to Can. Well done Polen! One final comment, the scene brings both mothers into Can's office for emphasis. This is a COMPARE and CONTRAST moment. Can does not say to Sanem's mother - "I really lover your daughter working here and I love her. " What would have happened? Some might say this gives Can the ENERGY to try again with Sanem at the resort - but really - does he need to be encouraged to try to win her back? He's our deeply troubled/lost/confused hero!! For the record - The scriptwriters play a scene of violence of kidnapping against Sanem. Violence against women in a romantic comedy is not acceptable. PERIOD! 🧡🧡

Can chased Sanem from episode 2 and everything he’s doing now is to get her back but he just doesn’t know how to express it. Women like Polen and Ceyda were easy and shallow but his prize will always be Sanem she is his first and only love that captured his heart ❤️

The writers do this in other Turkish series as well . They make the female lead in the series , look weak . This same thing happens between Faruk & Surreya , in ... " Bride of instanbul" . It's unbearable to watch @ times for me , as well

EK is my favorite series of all the Turkish dramas I’ve seen. I agree it’s his best; especially the range of emotion he portrays.❤ They are both so stubborn…each trying to change the other.😢

Jan acted the best in this series because both him and Demet(Sanem) were in an actual relationship at the time. You can see how smitten he was by her. So their love scenes in the show are actually natural

He wasn’t reuniting with his X he wasn’t dating her. Huma and Polen were delusional and scheming with the book. Can used the book to stay close to Sanem and used Polen to get her jealous. Sanem accepted his rejection and decision to leave and focus on her book but he couldn’t accept her moving on in her job with Yighit. What Emre made him realise is did he really love Sanem to hurt her to the extent he was with the book and under pressure agreeing to Polens request to a cooking class just like Sanem under pressure from Fabbris gave him the perfume rights

Turkish writers always make the lead actress needy and ditsy. If you watch Black Money Love it's also Turkish it's excellent a strong leading actress who is married in real life to the leading actor. So much better than this slow drug out show.
