Remembering the time I found Can I Call You Tonight almost 3 years ago. And instantly got hooked with the band. So much grateful that I came across his amazing music.

I was invited to my ex’s wedding (we were still friends) many moons ago. reception held at a place i’d never been to, talking to complete strangers, introducing myself as the bride’s “friend”. Then watching my ex walk into the reception towards her new husband that should of been me. We were each others first love and I did cry a little on the dance floor that night. But then I saw how happy she was and I smiled and finally felt free. You took me back there. Love it!

this is one of those songs that makes checking the entire album out a 4 hour long process because I put it on repeat for 3 hours

In France, I don’t know a single person who is listening to this kind of music, so the meme of « Listening to this when the boys are not around » is true for me But, I met my girlfriend 3 years ago and we listened to « Can I call You tonight » together, since this album dropped, we dance on this song everytime we see each other Find someone who have the same taste in music as you is fantastic ❤️

While "Close to you" sounds like song that would fit perfectly into a 1980s film like 1986's "Pretty in Pink," this feels like it would fit perfectly into 1987's "Some Kind of Wonderful" or 1985's "St. Elmo's Fire." Dayglow definitely makes great music for the Brat Pack 1980s coming-of-age movies. If these songs were released back then, I can imagine that John Hughes would have used a lot of Dayglow songs in his movies.

I hear a lot of good music, but every once in a while I just stumble upon a really, really great song. Usually two or three times a year. I know that feeling right away when I hear it for the first time. This is one of those songs. What a tune.
