1st guy: "Hey man what are you doing?" 2nd guy: "Just placing these red barrels here." 1st guy: "why?" 2nd guy: "Don't rightly know, just have a feeling one day they might help someone."
Walking zombie would be shut down pretty quick when people know what's going on. Unless the virus can transmit airborne and shit, but in that case the virus would be the main problem, the zombie is just the result.
For those who haven't played the game yet, this is a horde. In the game, there are *40* of them. This one is not the biggest. Three of them are main mission objectives, the rest are just there to be attacked at your leisure. Oh yeah, and they don't stay in just one place. At night they'll get of their holes and waltz through the forest. Yes, you are very likely to bump into them on accident, and yes it will ruin your day.
I'm convinced the Walking Dead universe would be a wet dream in comparison, but then Rick would get all up in his inferiority complex and try to kill him or something
@@mr.obvious331 maybe I'm not as far in the game but for me I need to stock my bike up with 2 refills of ammo. If I have a good amount of explosives I can manage with the ammo I have.
From playing Days Gone I do have to say I'm losing trust in reviewers I'm mean they shitted 💩 all over this game but from playing I find this game being a sleeper hit, Days Gone is very popular in the UK, good job Sony Bend.
i have seen another video of this youtuber... because they shoot 3 times then reloads... they seem to survive the hordes... i tried killing the sawmill onr, i went through a whole clip then i died because i was trying to reoload a full clip 😡
Yeah, I noticed this guy used no potions or med kits on his run. The only nod to the blue endurance bar running low seemed to be when he climbed up the truck and trailer to slow walk it for a moment with a Molotov screen while catching his breath.
Mine does every time. I won't even fight any hordes yet, bit then again my crappy assault rifle only carries 75 rounds max and takes three to kill *one* of these things with body shots.
@@whatthefuck9703 I brought that game for my son and watched him play. Those things screaming in the distance, but then their screams grow closer and closer. You know that they're coming, but you're not really sure what direction they're coming from. And then you turn around and they're swarming the building that you're on top of. That game was awesome also. It had me screaming and laughing at the same time.
MsUltraBob A feminist SJW reviewed it, did you expect her to give a good score to a game that doesn't push any agenda and that its main character is a gruff white male biker? lol
SSJ- ROSE She's biased and she gives very high scores to games that feature female characters: Horizon Zero Dawn: 9.7 Shadow of The Tomb Raider: 9.0 I bet The Last of Us 2 will take a perfect 10/10 from her lol
Using the explosive barrels/trucks REALLY help during this horde. A little tip for the newer players, if a horse is right behind you and you're trying to run away, pull out a grenade and throw it directly under you while running still, itll knock about 15 dead and then the others will stumble on the bodies :)
About 20 hours in on hard. The beginning is rough. Low ammo reserves, melee hits take 14 slashes with the knife, about 8 hits with uncrafted bats, 2x4s etc. The enemies feel spongey AT FIRST. Once you begin to upgrade your skills, the melee hits take 1-3 hits depending on the weapon, level 3 machine guns take 3 hits to the body, ammo goes up drastically with how much you can to carry. You really feel like you progress and get stronger as the game goes on. Stick to stealth and avoid hordes until you’re equipped later on. Yes, the aiming is a bit rough before you get used to it, I recommend a lower sensitivity and keep practicing, it gets much easier. If you want a game where you can wipe hordes right from the beginning, easy and normal are the way to go. A more survival oriented aspect is hard. With how often the devs have been rolling out updates, I feel the deadzones will be addressed for gun play which will make it feel much smoother when you have no aim assist. All in all, hard is a much more satisfying experience. I tried normal and felt overpowered when the upgrades started rolling in. Enemies become an annoyance that you know you’ll get past every time. You aren’t forced to use anything but your primary gun, which can be fun but becomes a rinse and repeat formula. Hard will keep the encounters interesting and strategic. End game allows a more free experience with heavy gun play on hordes.
Every game I play, I immediately set the hardest difficult available. Not because I'm a pro ou hardcore gamer, but because games nowadays are kinda easy. It feels better because you just adapt to that difficult instantly since you never had other experience. When you play something on normal then go hardest, it might be even more difficult because you got used to playing not only an easier difficult but also a different mindset and strategy.
I was really impressed with that play style No potions, no med kits, almost no reloads. He only started shooting the zom, er, gee, er, freaks when down to the last dozen, and saved the bat for the very last one. I’m being petty and envious when I noticed that last red barrel and thought “you missed one!” 😁 I didn’t even know the tanker trucks would explode. Here I am sitting on the ledge by the back road, after planting mines by a few barrels and tossing stuff down on them between hit and run sessions. This was an impressively “choreographed” play through.
Honest opinion, this game is phenomenal. No, it isn't what they'd originally showed. A lot of animations seem in the early build were scrapped, and this game wasn't as good as it COULD have been. But it was far better than any open-world zombie game I've gotten to play. The story is deep and immersive, the character development of Deacon and also those Deacon interacts with is truly impressive, and while the game gets easier as you access more skills and NERO injectors, early-game can be incredibly difficult if you're trying to eliminate hordes. It captures the elements of Dead Rising 3's early stages while giving the player complete control of how and when they achieve their goals. And on top of it all, the story is so much more overarching than I'd have ever expected. I wasn't prepared to be playing a game with nearly as much story as Red Dead.
This game isn’t perfect but it doesn’t deserve to be so criticize. This game in my opinion dosent deserve to be 5.0 or 6.0 this game should be around 7.7 or 8.1
I'm an older generation gamer and I am still stuck way back in the past... seeing this blows my mind! I kinda stopped getting new consoles around the ps2 era. I still play PS2. But I'd love to play this game! This looks like a blast!
I also used to played on the old consoles but took a break for about 20 years, I bough a ps4 to my son 2 years ago because all the lockdowns eventually started also playing. currently playing days gone ! and enjoying it. there are so many great games out there, God of war, ghost of Tsushima, last of us .like a whole new world to discover.
Yeah, NERO needed all that oil to burn the bodies they dumped out there. Unfortunately they never had a chance to do that and that's why a horde of freakers are there to snack on the corpses. Why not put those leftover oil barrels to use? :)
i love all the bump mapping and tessellation on the ground, plus the textures on the vehicles that shit looks real as fuck. btw that wasn't a horde that was swarmers the horde is much bigger than that
Doing this mission the game made fun og me after being killed to many times. It sugested for meg to skip the mission. I have never been so humiliated...
I prefer M14 rifle for hordes. It has serious damage, great range and since its semi-auto, it does not waste ammo so every round fired is worth it. Has 16 rounds in one mag and you can carry decent amount of ammo on yourself + on bike. Hide in bushes and use it as a sniper rifle from long range combined with focus.
@@draaggemmmjelly7430 just melee the newts and wolves they die in two hits man I got you haha and roll alot you take way less damage there's a perk where the roll takes almost no stamina I'd invest in that one
I like to put mines by the end of those piles, so the first guy through rolls the mess onto the followers. As a clumsy old guy, it’s hard to set these traps up in “real time”, so the proximity or remote mines really help, especially if you can place a remote mine by a large combustible and get the horde centered on it.
well done, finally a smart gamer who know how to use explosive in the area too many bad gamer w horrible recording n no brain no planning n pathing ur kiting could be better but u did much better than most well done
at the beginning for me they were all zombies, but after u learn that they also eat plants for survive, scary of light, pee and poo.. well those are some freakers. Sorry for the spoiler lol.
