You should have covered the fish in an air tight container or wrap them tightly with cling film/storage bags. Remember fish is white meat and can cause you great trouble when not stored properly.

Love the content. However, I did some surface-level research on this, and apparently its better to store your produce (tomatoes/hoho) unwashed in the fridge. Washing them reduces their shelf life, speaking from experience.

For the garlic no need to add water just add salt and some oil it wil increase its shelf life
