Hi sweet Fam! I am back with a new vloggy vlog.
In this vlog, I shared days in my life living alone in Nigeria as an introvert.
This vlog started on a Tuesday and ended on a Sunday. I have been postponing getting some things done & I tried to get them done in this vlog.
Also, we had a change in the power schedule in my area - which I was totally unprepared for & it really did take its toll on my productivity for a couple of days. Hopefully it gets better or I adapt to the change very fast. :)
I hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed filming & putting this together. Your girl is always thankful for your kind comments & support. It means a lot. :)

Hi Mo! After watching this blog I felt the urge to leave a comment because I live in Venezuela, a country in South America, and I find it astonishing to see someone who lives on another side of the world living as if it were my own country. Here in Venezuela, we deal with power outages every day too, we have trouble with water also. Prices are rising unexpectedly, and we eat delicious plantain as you do there (yes, we don't share just the bad) but obviously, the bad is very relevant at least in this context. Dealing with "electrical rationing" or whatever that's called in English (I speak Spanish) life feels really slow, tiring and sometimes frustrating just because we can do our normal lives as we are supposed to do, so what I wanted to say is that I admire you from the bottom of my heart for being able to keep filming, editing and posting the videos at the same time that you study, cook, clean and take care of yourself. Surely your effort will be paid a million times, I wish you a happy life.

Me! I just like how she does the rotation between market & shopping at the mall. I wonder if things are pricey in the mall (it’s called spar where she shops), why doesn’t she just shop in the market? Like the one market? I absolutely enjoy that & just watching her live. Staying true to herself & enjoying ber company! Ugh refreshing.

This content is so refreshing. I'm a Nigerian, currently a college student in the US and I've been wondering how my life would be if I came back to live in Nigeria after my studies. Although I've lived in Nigeria my entire life before coming here for college, I've never experienced living alone and providing for myself and I feel like a lot of what people tell you about Nigeria is overshadowed by suffering and hardships but seeing this gave me a clear, realistic point of view. This is exactly what I needed. Much love from me ❤😁

I live in Northern Europe and there is a lot we can learn from you! When there is a power outage or any other inconvenience here, what almost never happens, people get very frustrated. We are so spoiled in that regard. You just seem to roll with it, accepting what you cannot change and take things as they come, that is a much better way to live. Love the new curtains by the way ❤

It's different tho. You don't expect a power outrage, so things that are urgent (like school deadlines) can't be done. But of course, I'm very very very grateful we always have power access.

So I know how disruptive they can be. In your last vlog you mentioned that you were feeling tired when you wake up in the morning. I thought maybe that you weren’t getting enough sleep. Haha, I love this!🥹❤ You’re so right, power outages can be so disruptive. However, now I’ll say I’m adapting better. It caught us unaware that week😂. On how I’ve been feeling too, went for another test, & it shows I still have malaria. But yes, not getting enough sleep seems part of it too. And on being more organized, i love this! I don’t think I am as organized as you think though but thank youuuu🙈🙈🙈

Love to see your videos again! I am living in the U.S. born and raised but am Nigerian ethnically. Hoping to visit this year or soon, I haven’t been since I was very small. I’ve always wondered what my life would be like if my family did not relocate and have us stay here. Love seeing a glimpse of that through your content! I also love the lofi add ins, studio ghibli/slice of life anime gifs, I also have watched anime since I was young, I found out it’s quit popular in Nigeria as well which is so funny. It makes the videos feel more nostalgic and cozy! Also curious, what do you use to record? I imagine it must be awkward carrying phone and recording constantly but maybe not? Yay! Another Mo's vlog. 💕 I love that you can have a curtain sewn from whatever fabric you choose. It looks so exclusive! An interesting fact: I saw that you cooked a dish called akara which is a bean cake. In the northeast of Brazil there is a dish called acarajé, which is a bean cake fried with palm oil and filled with shrimp. According to Google, it originated from akara. 😁
