I think the one area no one prepares you enough for is how difficult breast-feeding can be! And it’s definitely painful. But it does get easier after the first 2 to 3 weeks and it’s excellent for the baby and losing that baby weight.

Been waiting for this vlog! Congrats, she’s beautiful. We found out in January we’re expecting our second so I’m so here for ALL the baby things! 💖 Been loving them so far. You're doing awesome, momma! I know breastfeeding can be frustrating, especially in the beginning, but just remember that you are both new to it, so it just takes time and practice! You are doing what God intended for your body to do. Some of my most special memories of my son and being a new mom is the bonding experience that breastfeeding gave us 💙 My son is 9 now, but I still get warm, fuzzy feelings when I think about those memories 🥰 So happy for your little family! ❤️

Congratulations. I can’t believe you’re back so soon I would have thought you were going to take a couple of months off. It’s so nice that you recorded a video so soon after the baby. Ella looks just like your husband, especially when she smiles, adorable. Glad breastfeeding is going well. For me personally it was difficult and hurt for months with both of my kids and neither were tongue tied, it’s just not as easy as everyone makes it out to be. Both of you are doing so well and I’m glad she’s already sleeping longer hours. That's a true blessing. 😂 I’m sure you were told that in the first month they get their hours mixed up so they love to sleep in the morning and be up all night. Usually it goes away in a couple of weeks on its own. Have fun take lots of pictures. This is always the time that seems to fade so reveal in those small baby months they go by so fast. 😊

My daughter had tongue tie which also made breastfeeding painful at the beginning. Breastfeeding doesn’t normally hurt at the start hurts as you continue. Have her checked because it can help the both of you! So precious congratulations to you both and your new baby girl for being so lucky to you two as parents. 🎉❤😊

I’ve commented before about our miscarriages and rainbow babies being only a few weeks apart… my little baby just turned 2 months old on Friday and I miss the newborn stage even though it was so hard. Try to soak in every moment and remember everything is so temporary. 😭🥰

When you can, do a what I actually used in my hospital bad and what you didn’t. She’s so precious by the way, soak in these newborn moments it’s all gonna seem like a dream when she’s a little bigger ❤

My 3 week old daughter will only take the Philips Avent ultra air pacifiers or the Mam ones so I think they’re pretty similar! We’ve tried 5+ others and she spits them all out immediately 😅

I also had to definitely watch what I eat when breast-feeding. So it’s like broccoli, cauliflower, etc. would make the baby very gassy.

Breastfeeding is hard. But it gets so so so much better. If you can make it the first two weeks, you can do it. ❤️

Have you seen anyone for possible tongue tie? I’m an SLP and the latch shouldn’t ever hurt, even in the beginning, the pain would be because they are raw/chapped!

I'm sure what she means is h er nipple is irritated from going through something new! I find it interesting when they say it shouldn't hurt but it does and after a week or two goes away it's just ur nipple not used to it

I co-sign this! Was in unbearable pain and found out my son had a tongue and lip tie. We had a procedure done to revise it at about 8 weeks. And the pain stopped almost immediately!

beautiful baby needs a little hat or cap the newborn feel the weather much more than you do at least one layer more of warmth is needed dont want baby to catch a cold it does start on the head, remember what you eat so does your baby you dont want the baby to get colic or heartburn ...

Have you talked to a lactation consultant? Breastfeeding doesnt hurt, if it does then your not doing it right... you might want to get checked out by one!

Yeah I’ve talked to plenty who all agree her latch is amazing and everything looks fine! It just hurt the first two weeks as I got used to it, but we are all good now
