Your vlog is such a ray of sunshine and I am LOVING the 1950’s style doowop music choices for this video! Your home is looking absolutely gorgeous lovely, Can I recommend Clarkson’s Farm (on Amazon) ? I’m not the world’s biggest fan of Jezza, but this series on Amazon might give you a bit more of an insight into what’s going on in the fields around your beautiful home, and it’s hilarious too. I’ve such admiration and pride for our nation’s farmers. Big hugs my darling 💕

I feel like you are glowing Gemma, you can literally radiating happiness , it’s so obvious where you are is really agreeing with you both 🥰 can’t wait to see the porch, hay bales would look amazing, though any form of farming implement, ie a pitchfork outside would freak me out and remind me more of the movie ‘Halloween’ rather than cosy vibes 😂😳 I do like the console table and I also think a lovely bench seat would have gone nicely there for sitting putting shoes etc on with maybe a smaller table next to it with the lamp etc . So pleased you are so happy, what an idyllic life you’ve made for yourselves and so well deserved xx

Be careful putting your reed diffuser on top of the wooden surfaces. The oil can sometimes affect the wood. I wrecked my coffee table 😭 so now I put it on a decorative coaster x

I literally grew up with my grandparents in the countryside and it had very strong impact on me. My dream is to live in the middle of nowhere which is impossible at the moment, however I have moved out of London to much smaller town and I feel way more happier now 😊 I just love nature and all the peacefulness it gives you ❤

A couple 2, 3 bails of straw, A few corn stalks, Old style rocking chair, Lantern on straw, old quilt draped over the chair, old book open on the chair with some granny glasses sitting on book for starters. Pumpkins and leaves and such scattered around and ect... Maybe a tall large plant next to the hall table to conceal the plug. Happy decorating!!!

You look so at peace, it's amazing! I'd recommend getting a little tree next to the table under those stairs; the dark leaves of the rubber tree could be a nice contrast but a ficus or fiddle leaf fig would look super nice as well! 🤍

Tall corn stalks wrapped around your 2 front posts. Stuff Indian Corns and fairy lights around them. I’m sure whatever you decide will look amazing. The key is cozy fairy lights 😃

Some rustic old ladders 🪜 I have a set that I only put out in autumn 🍂 Mine are in house I hang blankets on them but I am sure they would look fab on the front. Also some sort of kart, like one you see people using at festivals with kids in… you could get a metal one and spray it. Looking forward to seeing your blog on the front of the house … x

I love the kitchen shelf styling and console table 😍 we have just had a garage conversion so now have a bigger living room and can fit a dining table in so can eat together a family which I just love and dreamed of. Am always on the hunt for things to style our space and you have such great taste, perfect inspiration. Having lived in the country myself - I agree with your mom. Be prepared for noise, dust and be particularly cognizant when they fertilize the fields. Keep your windows shut. It’s long term dangerous to be around the fertilizer so be careful. Everything is looking lovely. ❤️

I always have a hay bale with pumpkins on it, usually the natural orange shade but white pumpkins and gourds would look beautiful on your porch. A beautiful natural colour wreath with straw, corn and little white pumpkins in it would be wonderful on your front door.

I feel so similar. I always thought I was a city girl. I was raised on a farm but dreamed of living in the city, then I moved to a big city in Australia, then Vancouver, then LA then London and then finally realised I’m not a city girl full time and I find my peace and happiness in a rural setting so now I live in a small town in England by the sea PS I cried when you said your mum coming was the best day ever. I haven’t seen my mum in 2 years now and I can just imagine her visiting and it being so wonderful 💛💛💛

Hay Bales and Wagon or Cart wheels are what your looking for! 🤗 If you like that sort of style you might like an old plough or other farm machinery as decor all year round. Fairy lights around the pillars and across the top, pumpkin stacks either side, Autumn coloured leaf wreath, etc would all look amazing Xx

I cannot wait for your autumn/winter hauls. I was in Home Sense yesterday and I spent about an hour sniffing all the candles and I was thinking I can’t wait to see all Gemmas autumn candles. I ended up buying 3 of the Sand & Fog candles in the scent Pumpkin Harvest, it smells amazing!! I just can’t wait for the cosy autumn days and Gemma always really sets it off right with her videos 😊

You definitely should utilize little cute scarecrows, barrels of decorative apples/pumpkins, hay blocks, maybe corn husks? Blankets too! Fairy lights or teacup candles! Maybe put a bench under the window too
